Our Real Wedding

We got married at Highcliffe Castle in Dorset as we didn't mutually want a church wedding and we didn't want to stay at a 'wedding venue' all day due to trying to keep costs low whilst having a large guest list. Highcliffe castle was so lovely and looks gorgeous in the sun. It didn't bother us that there were members of the public there at all, and I don't think they are in the back of many of our photos either.

I was late as it took me AGES to put on my dress and accessories, this meant that photo time was rushed because we were only at Highcliffe castle for an hour. The staff at Highcliffe castle are lovely, professional and efficient.

We had the rest of the day at Barton on Sea golf club as my in laws are members. Kate who runs the club house was an absolute gem and made sure everything was in place for a perfect day and a wonderful day we did have.

What I learnt... THINGS GO WRONG AND YOU DON'T CARE. (I wouldn't have believed me either.)

Advice to future brides: don't drink as much as I did!
