Our Real Wedding

We had a country wedding with a ceremony at the beautiful and historic Stokesay church as this is where I grew up. We had our wonderful reception at Wilde Lodge over the Welsh border. It was the most wonderful venue, we hired The Arched Wedding Tent (Curious Tent Hire) for our wedding feast catered by the fabulous CSONS. The staff at Wilde Lodge were absolutely fabulous, no favour too big and all so helpful and kind. We had several planning meetings leading up to the weekend so when we met on the Friday morning we had very little to discuss. Our guests were able to book to stay in Hels Bells bell tents and we booked the Showering Shepherd with Nomadic washrooms. The night before the wedding we had the WeddingPizzaCo being their trailer to do pizzas and supply breakfast the following morning. For the Sunday we ran a BBQ to catch up with people again and reflect on a wonderful weekend. We had the Sunday night with family in the lodge which was lovely. We did our own flowers, using our own home grown flowers, as well as beautiful buckets supplied by Stokesay Flowers and Rhos Organic. Our band Wonderfolk topped of our suppliers with 2 superb sets that had everyone dancing. We had the most amazing weekend and would recommend Wilde Lodge and all of our suppliers.
