Our Real Wedding

As soon as we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted an outdoor festival-style day that was relaxed and fun for us and our guests. We both love live music and festivals and wanted to create our own, so we quickly settled on tipis and live bands, so began looking for a venue that could accommodate both.

Alcott Farm was the perfect venue, with a beautiful setting and lots of options to shape our perfect day. Lucy was so helpful throughout, helping us find great suppliers, organise the day and get the finer details sorted every step of the way. We had so much freedom to go with whatever we wanted to tailor the day to us and our families.

Our only worry was that the weather might not be good on the day (but we had plans for what to do if it wasn't!). Luckily the weather was perfect and the day was everything we wanted it to be. We had live bands, a silent disco, horsebox food truck and an appearance from one of the horses that lives at Alcott (keeping the horse-mad bride happy)! We also got to camp overnight with our guests which helped us to make the most of every minute of the day.
