Tregedna Lodge was the perfect choice for our special day. Myself and Keith both grew up in Budock Water just a stones through away from Tregedna and I have lovely childhood memories of walking the fields that surround it to Maenporth with my grandparents for picnics when I was young.
The converted barns are so beautiful, with the exposed wooden beams; the space for the reception is excellent, and the ceremony room is exquisite, romantic, and has a very special feel about it .
We loved that there was plenty of outside space with a pretty garden & outside fairy lights. We envisaged our wedding day to be whimsical, romantic, magical, and relaxed, and that's exactly the day we had! We decided to have a nontraditional ceremony, and this included a handfast to tie the knot! Keith made the handfast cord himself using red, black and gold cord.
We chose 'Fade Into You' by Mazzy Star to play as I walked down the aisle. It is a very special song for myself & Keith. Our gorgeous dog Nellie was our ring bearer, who did a very good job at safely bringing the wedding rings down the aisle!

My mother-in-law, Helen, decorated throughout with deep red and dusty pink flowers and made flower chandeliers that hung beautifully from the ceiling beams. Helen also made bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, little posies for the flower girls, and a beautiful flower crown for myself.
My dress was a Justin Alexander flowy tulle dress with Chantilly lace detail. I also wore a silver locket, which was a very thoughtful gift from Keith. It is a constellation map of the stars and planets aligning at the exact date and time we got married.
Myself and I used his dad's Naval sword to cut the cake!
