It all began on September 14, 2022, when Liam proposed during our babymoon in Greece, watching the sunrise on a private beach—it was simply perfect. Fast forward a year, and as a family of three, we set a date for our big day: Sunday, September 22, 2024.We noticed that London Town Hall ceremonies were growing in popularity and both loved the idea of a stylish London wedding. Our priorities were clear: great music, delicious food, fine wine, and a fun atmosphere with our closest friends and family. We envisioned a relaxed celebration that felt more like a party.The search began! We soon discovered Islington Town Hall and its stunning council chamber. Next, we needed a nearby restaurant for our reception, and that’s when we found Fredericks. A day trip to London was essential, during which we explored the Town Hall and enjoyed lunch at Fredericks. Both venues felt perfect, and we knew it was meant to be! A special shout-out to Laura, the wedding planner at Fredericks—she was amazing and helped us tailor the day to our vision.I found my wedding dress in the first shop I visited with my mum, trying on about ten dresses. We both knew immediately it was “the one.” Designed by Nicole Milano, I paired it with elegant Paradox London heels.Next on our list was booking the best photographers, Olegs and Rita, who captured my dream confetti shot! I also collaborated with Aurum Archives for content creation, My Posy Neighbour for florals, and Konditor Cakes for our cake. I had a clear vision of a fun, laid-back, and natural aesthetic, and they all exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend them highly enough!When the big day finally arrived, it was truly magical, filled with love and laughter. We had a saxophonist and DJ in the evening, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night—even my husband’s 89-year-old grandmother!My favorite moment was walking down the aisle with my mum, seeing my husband holding our 18-month-old son, Teddy, who was squealing with joy at the sight of us. The wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more, and we’re still basking in our little marriage bubble. I just wish we could relive it all again!With love,Sophie and Liam x
