Our Real Wedding
We have been together for over 8 years now, and two years ago got engaged under the incredible sunset on holiday in Turkey.
We had always wanted an Autumnal themed wedding, with bright and bold colours and tiny pumpkins on the tables! We planned to save for two years and to ensure we could have the wedding we dreamed about.
From the moment we saw Wadhurst online we just knew it was going to be the one. We had a visit guided by Susan and everything just felt so perfect and homely. We didn't even go and look at any other venues because we were so set from the moment we stepped onto the grounds! Susan was there to answer every email, call and panic in the two years we spent planning and we couldn't have asked for anyone more helpful and enthusiastic to have helped us.
The team at Wadhurst treated us like friends and made us feel so special throughout the entire process. They offered us the best list of suppliers and worked so hard behind the scenes with each of them that we didn't even have to think about it!
Continue reading »The castle is absolutely beautiful and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. The fact that you get exclusive access to the castle and its beautiful grounds means your guests can spread out and explore, and there are plenty of spaces for photo opportunities. Our guests were stunned from the moment they arrived and have not stopped commenting on what an incredible venue it is.
Our beautiful flowers were designed by Lydie from Lydie Dalton Floral Designs and Ali from Trowers Flowers. We were stunned when they arrived the morning of our wedding as they were everything we hoped for and more!
It was the most perfect day filled with happiness and non-stop smiling, which was everything we dreamed of.
