Our Real Wedding

Our day was perfect, everything we could have hoped for and more. We married on the 7th of September 2024 at Bashall Barn in Clitheroe. We fell in love with the venue immediately. As a couple in our mid 30s, we've been to many friends weddings and are used to many venues having to turf you out the room to change from ceremony to dinner and then again when the party happens, however... this venue had 3 separate areas.. one for the ceremony, one for the dinner and then again separate dancefloor near the bar. There would be no waiting around for our guests and we loved that. They also had fantastic concealed optics bar that they revealed during the drinks reception and again in the evening - guests could self-serve - you do pay extra for this but we wanted a boozy wedding and it was worth every penny! Myself and the bridesmaids got ready in the gorgeous bridal suite and my husband and the groomsmen had use of the newly opened 'den' to get ready. As the registrar only had 3pm available when we booked the wedding, we chose to have a first look before the ceremony and most of our posed pictures done before we were married which was perfect for us. We could then enjoy the drinks reception with our guests straight after the ceremony. There are so many opportunities for gorgeous photos as you're surrounded by gorgeous fields. We had an acoustic singer during our drinks reception and gorgeous canapés from the venue. The meal was delicious and speeches went without a hitch due to the inbuilt sound system. We had the most amazing day and night celebrating with our closest people. There were 11 rooms on site so enough for close family and bridal/grooms party or those elderly relatives. We are in love with how our photos turned out and are so happy to have such wonderful memories from the day!
