02 Sep, 2024Our Real Wedding
Both Mark and I couldn't sleep well 2 nights before our wedding day, we were slightly anxious and excited at the same time. We were engaged in December 2022, so we had plenty of time to plan and give plenty of time to my family to join.
When the day comes, we absolutely loved it. The weather wasn't really on our side, and it always rain on the day I plan something. It was foggy and wet, and we had to do our wedding indoor. But that has had no ill effect on any of us, we still had good fun, I absolutely love my sincerity A-line wedding dress. I couldn't have found the dress if not for the lady, Dellas, at the dress shop. When my bridesmaids and I went for the dress shopping, I tried many dresses of different styles and Dellas brought this one over for me to try when I was about to give up. My face instantly glowed and everyone was like "this is the one".
I went for dried flowers (instead of fresh flowers) for my bouquet and the bridesmaids', purely because I can cherish them longer and love seeing my bouquet in the living room now.

The day went really well and it is important to enjoy it and choose your suppliers wisely as they can make a huge difference to the day. We were fortunate to have our day at Tissington Hall, the owner (Lady Fiona) and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the day run smoothly.
