Our Real Wedding

We got married at Hackness Grange in July 2024. The weather was hot!! The florist (Vicki Johnston) was there setting up the flowers at the crack of dawn, and the bride was in the getting-ready room with the bridesmaids as preparations started! The groom went out on a run with the best men (luckily, they didn’t get lost and had no injuries!) The stylist and wedding coordinator were setting up in the function suite. All preparations were completed, and the ceremony early afternoon. The day went smoothly, and there were no hiccups at the ceremony. After it was time for canapés which were delicious, our guests sat out in the sun whilst we had some photos taken, smiles all round! Then it was time for the wedding breakfast a delicious three course meal by HG. Then it was time for speeches all the expected ones and the bride said a few words too! After speeches the DJ and sax turned up and there was lots of dancing and singing - a really fantastic day.
