Our Real Wedding

We had our wedding booked and planned for Saturday 16th May but due to the coronavirus outbreak, we had to make the decision to postpone/cancel all of our plans and reschedule for a future date.

However, afterlife never really going our way (we've had a few bumps in our journey to getting married and trying to have a baby) we decided to call the Registry Office in Bath where we had our initial booking and asked if they had any slots available that week. They did!

We grabbed a few close friends, ordered the dress the day before and headed to Bath and got married in a small, intimate and romantic ceremony!

The city was empty due to restaurants, bars and lots of shops starting to close that weekend on the government's advice.

We had some beautiful photos taken around the city before heading home to begin our self-isolation. Not exactly the honeymoon we'd intended but we're actually delighted with how it all turned out.

We didn't tell our families as we didn't want to choose who could or couldn't come (We could only have a handful of people) and some of our family members are high risk so we didn't want anyone putting themselves in danger.
