Our Real Wedding

Where can I start! It was the most magical day we could have asked for! Getting married in the UK during summer is a tricky business and having an all outdoor wedding is very risky, as everyone knows the weather is so unpredictable. We had rain up until the day before our wedding and it was the sunniest most beautiful day for our day. The sun came out unexpectedly exactly when I walked down in the aisle. We managed to have our wedding on a farm, have our vows exchanged on the field and have the wedding party under a tent and enjoy our most perfect day outdoor. The venue, the event coordinator, the photographer, the hair and make up, the catering, the flowers, the celebrant, the wedding nannies and our band have been amazing from start to finish. All our guests were blown away! Everything ran so smoothly. The attention to details were incredible. We had a festival themed wedding planned, as we wanted something a bit unusual and unique. Our celebrant had an amazing idea of doing a lock ceremony where we attached locks to our family tree during exchanging our vows. Just perfect. Our daughter who is just over 2 years old had the best day too and both of our families have been amazing. We had a barbecue for our wedding breakfast and dinner and a live band to entertain us. We also provided some garden games for our guests and wedding nannies for the toddlers. They were brilliant which meant we didn’t need to worry about our kids throughout the entire wedding. They were well looked after. We captured our day with edityourwedding videos. The best if you don’t want to spend too much on a videographer. We wanted something relaxed, something small and something not so traditional and we just had exactly that. We just want to go back and do it all over again. There was no unnecessary stress and was the best day of our lives, of course apart from having our little girl.
