Our Real Wedding

We got married at Selden Barns. I used Hitched to find venues. I fell in love with the place as soon as I saw it and so did my husband.

We had such a magical day, starting with having my hair and make-up done along side my daughter who was my only bridesmaid. My hairdresser and make-up artist from so lovely, were absolutely amazing. They put me at ease and listened to what I wanted.

Our photographer was brilliant from Blue hours photography and took some lovely pictures before the wedding of all of us getting ready.

The staff at Selden barns were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too small for them to do for us.I felt like a princess as my son and dad walked me down the isle.

It was very emotional to see such love and admiration on my husbands face as I came to stand next to him.We wrote our own vows, and it was very touching how my husband got teary as he said his.I just about croaked mine out halving lost my voice at the start of the week! Despite this though it, was such an amazing day, to have all the family gathered in one place, as my husbands family are spread out over the country. With one of his brothers coming over from America, to celebrate with us. It made the day even more special. I am so thankful to our children for joining in with us and taking part, and for my husbands boys making me feel so welcome to join their family. It really did mean a lot.
