Our Real Wedding

It was an Arab-Indian fusion wedding! Very busy with three events in one day!

We had our civil ceremony first, followed by the Indian ceremony and reception in the evening. It was a beautiful day and you could really feel the love from all of our guests.

Obviously the day was not without its hiccups but those really made the day even more perfect! The Manor By the Lake staff were absolutely incredible and dealt with all of the problems before they even came to us.

We tried to incorporate both of our cultures into the day to honour them; choosing our rings and my wedding dress from Jordan and including Arabic sweets throughout the day and had Indian snacks including chai, samosa and a Indian meal in the evening. It was the most amazing and perfect day and it generated memories for a lifetime.

We went for a minimalistic style, focussing on the natural beauty of our venue and the delicious food and spending quality time with our loved ones.
