Lotty & Paul tied the knot on Sunday 17th September 2023 at Styal Lodge, Wilmslow, Cheshire in front of friends and family.
The bride Lotty wore a Phoenix Gown from Sarah's Wedding Boutique, which had a nude lining with ivory lace & beading. Lotty's earrings were pearl Welsh gold from Clogau and bridal shoes were 'Kim Pearl' block heels by Charlotte Mills. Lotty's makeup was kept natural with a bold (signature) lip and hair styled in classic curls.
The groom Paul wore a navy suit from Slater's Menswear in Manchester, paired with burgundy accessories and handmade oxblood leather shoes (which were very difficult to find). The groomsmen Nick and Steve wore navy suits with burgundy accents to match the groom.
For an early Autumn wedding, the chosen colours were burgundy, navy and neutrals - creating an elegant, luxurious and warming palette for the attire and venue decor. The bridesmaids Danielle and Jamie-Lee wore burgundy long floaty dresses to compliment the floral arrangements.

Lotty and Paul wrote their own promises which were said within the vows to make it personal to them, which everyone loved. Lotty & Paul were whisked off in the Styal Lodge golf buggy to the big lake where they had photographs, whilst guests enjoyed milk bottle cocktails and canapés outdoors.
Lotty chose a white gold wedding ring from Clogau, which contains rare Welsh gold (a node to her birth country). Paul chose a Titanium ring with the Roman numerals of the wedding date - a ring that’s one of a kind.
Flowers were really important to Lotty, which filled the room beautifully. The incredible floral arrangements were created by the talented Samantha at Fox & Bloom Floral Artistry. Sam used large 'Café au Lait' dahlias, Quicksand Roses and Cosmos from Moorfield Flower Farm, paired with burgundy flowers and foliage. "The floral arch and table arrangements were a real talking point for the whole day - our guests were blown away by the details." - Lotty
All the stationary was created by Lotty who works as a freelance digital marketing & design consultant. "I'm creative in my day job as a marketer, so I naturally wanted to design all of our stationary items, from the menus with 'bee' wax details to the signage - I used the navy and nude colours from our wedding attire to keep it cohesive." - Lotty
The guests had a selection of canapés outside with drinks after the ceremony. The venue even did sugar-free cocktails for Lotty who is a type 1 diabetic. Guests were sat down for the wedding breakfast by 4:15 and the couple entered to the song 'I was Born to Love You' by Queen.
"For the wedding breakfast, we chose sharing style BBQ meats and sides so that everyone could get involved - this reflected our style of dining." - Lotty & Paul
In the evening, guests could choose from a selection of handmade pizzas from caterers Wood, Fire & Smoke, who are famous for their pizzas.
A live band was something the couple HAD to have for the wedding and the guests loved every minute - even Paul and his dad Steve were up on the dance floor all night!
For the evening entertainment, the couple were set on having a live band. They chose 'The Lads' from Encore Music who played two sets of indie and rock classics, including hits from Lotty's choice of Queen and Frankie Valli and some of Paul's favourites from Green Day and Blink 182.
"We had our first dance to Irish folk band Hudson Taylor's 'Chasing Rubies', which is pretty unknown, but the band spent weeks learning the song and slowing it down 'Ed Sheeran style' for us, which was pretty special. The band recorded the music, so we listen to it all the time." - Paul
Hala in Northwich (Abda & Sophie) made a three-tier ‘naked’ wedding cake in nude with touches of rose gold. It was everything we wanted and more - just beautiful and tasted amazing. The top tier was made as reduced sugar because Lotty, the bridesmaid Danielle and a few guests are type 1 diabetic. Hala went above and beyond to accommodate this.
Lotty & Paul jetted off the very next morning on their honeymoon to Dubai (a very early start). "We packed a lot into our honeymoon, from desert adventures, seeing the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, to staying in a luxury hotel on The Palm. It was incredible and we didn't want to come back."
