Our Real Wedding

Our dream day was a long time planning an saving but worth every single penny. We chose the dream venue Colshaw hall and we couldn’t be happier for picking here, everyone went above and beyond from cleaners, bar staff, office staff everyone we’re so kind and caring. Big thank yous to Shelley for all our meetings leading up and to Sarah an Ian on the day!With this we had Barrett’s catering and all I can say is wow me an my husband still dream about this food, it was unbelievably beautiful and extremely good portions we even had guests who had finished an asking for peoples leftovers! Grant was amazing so special thank you to him.We had Craig Owen on violin for the ceremony and drinks reception with Andy Murphy DJ in evening and Jonny Crane on Sax which was such fun and everyone loved all aspects of the music through the day! Not forgetting all the props we had of glow sticks lights up glasses and our photobooth with audio guest book from candid camera events & booths. The Audi guestbook was amazing as we have some lovely keepsake messages from loved ones but as the night went on the funny ones after a few drinks! Something that we built ourselves and was the best bit of the evening was a crisp wall, everyone LOVED this as there is. Nothing better than some crisps when you have had a drink.The decor was from floral decor at Colshaw a the ceremony room a peel suite was just perfect we couldn’t believe how beautiful they made this for us, and our flowers. My bouquet was beautiful and just what I had asked for and we can’t thank them enough for making the grooms slightly different and even creating a small buttonhole for our 3 year old nephew who was our page boy, country flowers florist I would recommend you to anyone!Our day was perfect, we had so much stress leading up to this day with sadly a year to go losing a grandparent each in the same week, my partner nearly losing his job due to cut backs, along with many other things we didn’t think we would make it to the day. Everyone that was involved with our wedding made it the dream day which we want to do all over again and love showing people pictures and talking about it. 20th September 2024 will forever be the most special day
