18 May, 2024Our Real Wedding
We got married at Fingask Castle on the 18th May!
It started off as such a warm and sunny day, the photographer was even worried the boys would be too hot in their kilts!
When I walked down the aisle the sunshine was shining and we managed to get married outside as planned, which was fantastic! The ceremony was beautiful and included a surprise reading by Sean's sisters and a beautiful muscial performance by my mum and uncle, which was a semi surprise
After the ceremony we managed to do drinks and canapes outside whislt we got photos taken and then the fog rolled in! It felt like the heavens had jsut left the weather long enough for us to get married!
We cut the cake straight away, so people could have it as dessert- which included a little figurine of our dog, which Sean had hand painted!
The food was one of the most important things for us and it even exceeded our expectations - it was a big buffet so everyone could have what they wanted and everyone is still talking about it now!

Our first dance was to Rod Stewart Have I told you lately that I love you, followed by a father daughter dance which got everyone on the dancefloor and then a couple of ceilidh songs, which were carnage but great fun!
Honestly we had the wedding we wanted and it's even better that everyone enjoyed themselves, it was truly a day to remember
