Our Real Wedding

Me and my husband have been together since we were teenagers in school to married at 25 years old. He proposed to me on a private beach with a beautiful setup in Dubai in May 2023 with a secret photographer, and thereafter, it was planned in full force (of course, with the help of Hitched!) We booked our Venue at IXL Events Centre for our wedding reception, which took place in July 2024, and it was beautiful and unforgettable. The staff at IXL were super organised and helpful on the day and gave us more than we expected. The decor was black and white with florals and candle lights. The curtains to the main hall of the venue were closed as our guests enjoyed their canapés and looked over to the polo club on the balcony, which only made the reveal to the main hall all that more exciting. We had 300 guests and it was organised perfectly! The night was only amplified by our DJ (Virdi Mazaria from The Apprentice as he is our best friend from school and was my classmate), who made ALL of the guests party the whole time. The night was complimented with beautiful speeches by Virdi, close family and my husband as well as all the amazing dance surprises by my family. We also had a Photo Booth that all the guests enjoyed, which also doubled up a memorable guest book. Wedding Planning is a very stressful time but Hitched is a life saver and relieve a lot of the stress and anxiety and it is always worth it in the end!
