I started Events By Sophie B after I spent my first full year working for a beautiful barn in Titchfield, Hampshire. I loved running the venue and all the events that came with it, but I always felt like I had more to give - more love - more time - more passion. During this time I had the privilege of meeting so many clients, suppliers and other likeminded people in the industry (many of which I'm proud to call my friend now) it was a result of these conversations where I realised I could take all my passions and turn them into something tangible, and so Events By Sophie B was born. I have worked with huge companies, - The Intershell Group, Sant Fraed house and The Old Walls Collection, Gunwharf Quays, NEC, London Olympia (to name a few) and many small family ran businesses -The Great Barn, Rockfeild Barn, Bembridge Sailing Club, Royal Yacht Squadron. In my 10 years in the events industry I quickly realised that no two events are the same, no two clients, some couples are huge foodies and choose to splurge here, clients who need someone to arrive at a venue and dive right in, couples who need help with budgeting, clients who need amazing content captured of their event. My business is tailored completely to you and your event - the personal approach is always better and no task will be too much. I have walked alpacas down the aisle, found photographers within a 2 hour timeframe, organised electricians on a Sunday, dug a exploratory hole when a pipe under the venue burst, plated canopies, served champagne and planned beautiful light displays so when I say I can do it, trust me I've got this!
