What can we say! From start to finish Katie was amazing. As soon as we had our first call we knew she was the perfect fit - you can just tell she gets it. From that first chat, to our conversations throughout the process, to our meeting at the venue, to the actual day...we could not have done it without Katie - it would not have been the day it was without her. We originally hired Katie back in 2019 for our wedding scheduled for July 2020 at St John’s College, Oxford. That didn’t end up happening due to the pandemic, and after multiple postponements due to COVID restrictions and military commitments we finally got married in August 2023.

Katie is an exceptional wedding planner who brought our dream three-day wedding extravaganza to life. Over the course of a year and a half, she was an unwavering pillar of support, and she consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our day was perfect.

Big thanks to Katie for all her hard work on helping us organise our wedding! We spoke with a few Wedding Planners for our wedding and immediately knew that Katie was the right person for us. Not only did she know the majority of our suppliers but she instantly made us feel so relaxed and excited about the whole day.

We hired Katie for our 'on the day coordination' and she was absolutely brilliant. She was always there to offer sage advise or speak to suppliers on the run up to the event. As for the day before the wedding Katie was invaluable in helping with the set up and calming any pre-wedding nerves, it felt just like having a friend there that you'd known for years. We couldn't have asked for anyone better to be there on the day, organising suppliers/guests/us all the while being so kind, calming and joyful. We completely trusted her and, as proven, were absolutely right to.

We were living abroad in the lead up to our wedding and we decided that we needed someone to help us plan the day. Hiring Katie was the best decision we made. Katie was a relatively last min decision, initially recommended from our celebrant, and we are so glad we went ahead with having Katie there. She was such a positive part of the day, incredibly calm, helpful and totally unflappable.

Katie was truly amazing throughout the entire wedding process. She went above and beyond to ensure our day was a success. From suggesting wedding vendors to creating a detailed wedding schedule Katie did it all, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the day.

Katie took over the final stages of planning for our dry hire wedding. She handled all the coordination in the 3-4 weeks leading up to the wedding. This included a site visit with us at the venue, becoming the point of contact for all the suppliers, and creating a detailed plan for the day itself. Katie had loads of useful suggestions that hadn't occurred to me, including suggestions for fixtures and a recommendation for a local hire company that was able to provide tables and chairs with only two weeks to go. Even little details that made a big difference, such a recommending using a confetti basket instead of individual confetti packets! On the day itself, Rosie from Katie's team was there to open the venue for us in the morning and finish off setting up.

It was absolutely invaluable for me to have this service in the last few weeks before the wedding. The communication with Katie was excellent throughout. I felt that she "had my back" in those last few weeks. It was very reassuring to know that I could pass on last minute tasks to her or email her with questions. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone who is in need of a wedding planner.

Katie was a great support during the wedding and helped take a lot of the stress out of the planning process. She has a very calming, inclusive approach. Katie kept the budget on track and pulled together a team of suppliers to bring our vision to life. I have never appointed anyone to coordinate an event/ party for me before, opting to do everything myself but if you really want to enjoy your wedding and relax you need Katie-Lou Weddings! Katie recently coordinated our wedding, taking over liaising with suppliers 3 weeks before the big day and running the day itself. From our first meeting to discuss suppliers and the plans for our wedding I felt completely relaxed and knew Katie would do an amazing job. Katie was so incredibly efficient contacting suppliers and organising the things that I had completely overlooked; absolutely nothing was left to chance. Before the wedding Katie produced the most detailed schedule for the days leading up to the wedding and the day itself which we liaised about before being sent to all suppliers so that everyone knew the plan.
