The ultimate dream team - a must have for your big day!
How can I put in to words just how amazing Bola is?! We first met with her via zoom back in 2020, shortly after our engagement at a time when the world was going through a difficult time and there was little to no certainty as to when and how our wedding would take place. From our first meeting, we instantly knew we wanted Bola to work on our wedding. What stuck out was her warm and welcoming candor, her professionalism and her extensive knowledge. I myself am a keen event organiser and have a degree qualification in Event Management so I was very choosy in who we worked with. Bola made me feel in safe hands and shortly after our meeting, she sent over a detailed quote breakdown with moodboard images based on the vision we had discussed.
We booked Bola and team to handle our on the day coordination as well as to provide some of the decorations for our venue and it was the best decision we made for our big day,
Over the course of the 2 years leading up to our big day my (now) husband and I had several meetings with Bola and she was always happy to spare time to discuss any queries, ideas and updates as and when needed. She was always very honest when it came to potential features and price enquiries, even happy to let us seek out quotes with other suppliers - she made us feel that she truly had our best interests at heart.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Bola began to take over the running of the wedding including creating a detailed and concise order of the day, liaising with all suppliers, building a mock up of our room layout and visiting the venue with us. This put me at ease and allowed me to enjoy the other elements of what was an extremely busy time. I gave birth to our first son 10 months before our big day and juggling motherhood with wedding plans was at times trying. Bola really supported my husband and I and often checked in on how I was feeling.
On the day, Bola's colleague Tolu arrived promptly at my mother's house where I was getting ready and honestly, she was an absolute superstar. She was pleasant and bubbly and kept me calm, informed and supported me with all the various goings on. On top of this, she ensured my bridal party were on schedule, assisted the photographer and videographer, helped my Dad get ready - there was truly no end to her service. At one point, she was even helping to put an extra hole in my shoe strap as they were not tight enough! All of my bridesmaids commented on how very calm I was and I owe that to Tolu and to Bola. Both of them took charge of any unforeseeable issues (late running suppliers etc.) and I kept thanking my lucky stars that I had found such amazing coordinators.
Throughout my wedding, they both assisted me with literally EVERYTHING. Holding my phone and bag during our photo session, carrying my extremely long train whilst I maneuvered around the reception, going underneath my dress and changing me from heels to flats, ensuring my husband and I were saved canapes to enjoy privately during our room reveal, the list goes on and on and ON! At the end of the night, all my keepsakes and decor were safely packed away, my veil and day dress stored and everything ready to be returned back with my parents so that my husband and I could leave for our honeymoon stress free.
Bola - I cannot thank you enough. Truly you made my day an absolute dream come true. Thank you for supporting us, for championing and challenging some of our ideas and for all of your extremely hard work. I will miss working with you and hope to meet again in the future. Your skills were ordained by God and you are a blessing to the wedding industry.
