Hi, I’m Soraya and the founder of SF Wedding & Events!

Originally from Madrid, Spain, I live in Dronfield, Derbyshire with my family. My Wedding Journey started at Corinthia Hotel in London back in 2015 and have worked in some of London's most iconic venues for five years until I decided to move up north in 2020 and worked at The Maynard, a very popular Wedding Venue and Hotel in the Peak District, Derbyshire.

During this time, I have celebrated three awards as Best Wedding Venue (Hotel) for the East Midlands in 2022 and 2023, and National Highly Commended 2022 at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA).

One of the major achivements of my career, I was awarded Unsung Hero of the Year 2023 (Gold) at Peak District and Derbyshire Tourism Awards.
