I started researching the idea of getting married in Italy and as soon as I had a video call with Ginny, I just knew was the lady for the job. She created the wedding of our dreams! Any idea we came up with, or changed last minute she came back with it. Leading up to the wedding people couldn’t believe how relaxed I was, my reply was always ‘what have I got to be stressed about? I have Ginny!’ Nothing was too much trouble! She was so calm and had everything in hand throughout. The day was absolutely perfect. All of our guests commented how lovely Ginny was too.

Not to be dramatic, but I would trust Ginny with my life. She was absolutely above and beyond, and exactly the type of person you’d dream of having as your wedding planner (actually, I need someone like her in my life overall). She has 13+ years of experience planning weddings for Lake Garda and it really shows. From the moment I met her, to the day of the wedding, I never stopped being in awe and impressed by her. In fact, she was SO calm that at times it made me anxious we were not acting quickly enough/missing something. In hindsight, seeing how PERFECTLY the wedding day went, that was just her experience showing. If Ginny says it's going to be great, it’s going to be jaw-droppingly fantastic and you can count on that. She is so patient, firm when needed (and trust me brides, sometimes you need a voice of reason), so kind, funny and just a lovely person to be around overall. Until the day before, I was that annoying bride that was asking if something could be changed/added and Ginny was calm, supportive and tried to make my very last minute requests happen. I’m eternally grateful for her even trying so close to the wire.

On the day of, I was not well and a ball of nerves, and sure I was going to faint walking up to the altar. It was hot and humid, and I was so nauseous to top it off. Just seeing Ginny was a wave of comfort and she came over to save the day with her much needed calming words, and her unexpected knowledge in acupressure! It really brought me back to life and she snapped me into place.

I genuinely miss her, and we feel incredibly lucky to not only have had her as our wedding planner, but to meet such an inspiring woman. I am inspired to be like Ginny! Cool, calm, collected, kind and funny. She's a badass, and honestly I couldn't fathom a better wedding planner in the world could exist. Five stars is not enough.. anyone know how to give 6?

We hired Ginny to plan our wedding at Isola Del Garda/Gardone Riviera in September 2023 and it truly was the wedding of our dreams. Ginny is that rare wedding planner that stays completely calm during the craziness of planning, yet doesn’t miss a single important detail.

We can’t stop looking at all the photos and videos from our special day and look forward to seeing Ginny when we come back to the lake for future wedding anniversaries. What can I say.. Ginny from Weddings at Lake Garda exceeded our expectations!
For a couple who did everything last minute, Ginny had the patience and understanding right until the very end!
She went above and beyond planning our wedding, she came to visit me first thing on the morning of my special day to calm my nerves down and even to bring an oxygen tank for my father in-law on the day!
I was taken back when I arrived at our reception, the flowers, food, the cake (our guests and myself cannot stop talking about it) and the overall vibe was pure magical (more than what I had imagined).

Well what can we say about the lovely Ginny other than incredible. 3 years in the making our wedding was and she ensured everything was absolutely perfect. She speaks perfect English and Italian therefore no hiccups on the day. All the little extras were organised perfectly and best of all she’s always there for you on email, WhatsApp, telephone or in person when you visit. For sure my wedding would not have been the perfect day it was without Ginny’s involvement.

If you are considering Weddings at Lake Garda as your wedding planner, DO IT! Everyone at our wedding said it was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to and all of the credit goes to Ginny.
Ginny's calm demeanour makes you feel comfortable immediately and her genuine passion for wedding planning only makes you more excited for your big day.
Ginny's wealth of experience also makes a HUGE difference because she considers things you won't think about it and she always proposes options immediately for these as she has a wide network of vendors in the area.
Ginny is super flexible and accommodating. She drove to multiple venues all around Lake Garda for us to FaceTime us so we could see options via FaceTime since we couldn't be there in person.
Finally, she is extremely responsive and its obvious she loves her work. We live in Australia and planned our wedding from abroad during covid, so I expected some bumps in the road during wedding planning however I was not once stressed throughout the entire process. I am typically an easily stressed person, so this was especially appreciated!

We hired Ginny Bevan at the recommendation of our wedding venue (Torre San Marco) and we could not have been more pleased. She was extremely helpful, certainly well connected with vendors and able to help with many difficult decisions and made helpful suggestions. She also performed the ceremony for us! We felt her fee was very reasonable and well worth it! We highly recommend her!

My eldest boy danny hopcutt married his fiancee emma lambert at lonato castle dessenzano on the 17/6/22 ginny and her husband the wedding planners were out of this world .the meet and greet at dessenzano the night before , the ceremony,music ,food was 5 star + and the venue . Nothing was to much trouble and they took the stress away for the happy couple to enjoy there big day hence to say when my youngest lad decides to marry these two will be the organisers

Where to begin when writing a review for our amazing wedding planner Ginny? Well, if you are thinking of working with her, and only have the patience to read a couple of sentences, I will start by saying - DO IT! Choosing Ginny to plan our wedding was the single best decision we made during the whole process. If you want to get married on Lake Garda, look no further than Ginny and Weddings at Lake Garda.
It was clear from the beginning that we got so much more than just a wedding planner when working with Ginny. She truly cares about each and every couple she works with, and that comes through in every interaction.
We had the added complication of Covid when planning our wedding - which meant we had to book our venue without even seeing it. But with Ginny's advice and always going the extra mile (think video tours on facetime!) we chose Rocca di Lonato and it was simply the most amazing venue to host our wedding. When we then had to move the date due to Covid, it couldn't have been less stressful on our end. I'm sure the same couldn't be said for Ginny but we would never have known. And within a week or so our new date was agreed with all of our suppliers.
Speaking of suppliers, Ginny has excellent contacts all over the lake, and every one of our requests was fulfilled with ease! Not to mention everything was of the absolute highest quality - especially the food and drink. But also the flowers, make up and hair, fireworks, DJ and Sax... the list goes on! Our guests are still talking about it! I also need to give a special shout out to Ginny's husband, Lorenzo, who was our photographer and captured our day just perfectly.
When it came to the day itself, Ginny was simply AMAZING. Absolutely everything went to plan and was seamless - again, our guests were in awe of the organisation and how everything seemed to just flow from one part of the day to the next. Of course that was all down to Ginny's expert organisation and unflappable presence throughout the whole day (and it was a long day!) It is a cliche but it really was the best day of our lives and we can't thank Ginny enough for making it happen.

Ginny was incredible, we couldn’t wish for a better master of ceremony. She made our wedding fun and unforgettable. Her idea to make the ceremony less conventional, more fun and less serious was exactly what fit to us as a couple, and let us be sure to mention, our guests LOVED IT too. Who can say that they had Joey Tribiani's wedding speech delivered in part during their ceremony?! How cool is that :D Her style of delivery was great and she was also very comforting during the ceremony when she saw that the nerves were getting to us. We loved every single bit of her speech and got countless positive reactions from our family and friends. The ceremony style and content inspired many who have yet to hold their weddings too.

She was very professional from the first email conversations, her quick response times are a massive bonus and she was generally very helpful. She also kindly offered to help us organize the groups of people before and after the ceremony and thanks to her our guests' photoshoot was extremely efficient, clear and organized!

We would recommend her to anyone who wants to have an amazing ceremony. Additionally, she does full wedding planning, which we can only imagine has to be incredible with her too.

Ginny is without doubt the best in the business. Ginny went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing short of perfect. We planned our wedding from Australia, having never been to Lake Garda. Thankfully we found Ginny, which made the process seamless. Ginny offered unwavering support and consistent communication through the planning process, and across all three days of our celebration. No ask was too big. In fact, Ginny even stepped in last minute and saved the day to officiate our wedding as our celebrant was in an unfortunate motor bike accident (Andreas, we hope you are well and wish you a speedy recovery). Ginny delivered our ceremony with absolute class. Outstanding is an understatement. As Ginny had spent so much time with us on the lead up to the wedding, she was able to add in humour and talk to our personalities as we had developed such a strong relationship with Ginny over 18 months.
I could list a million things in which Ginny exceeded our expectations. She is an absolute delight to work with. Personable, funny, enthusiastic, diligent, hardworking and dedicated are a few words I would use to describe Ginny. We are devasted we live on the other side of the world as we would both love to spend more time with Ginny. Getting married at Lake Garda seemed like an impossible dream, and it would have been without Ginny. Ginny didn’t just make it possible, but she ensured perfection.

Throughout the planning phase Ginny’s recommendations were fantastic, her communication was great, and how promptly she was able to get things done was incredible. I messaged Ginny at 6am saying we’ve decided to get a band… by 9am I had a list of bands and videos of each!

On the wedding day, everything went so smoothly, whether it was down to Ginny dealing with issues that arose, or Ginny’s experience/relationships with the venues etc I will never know, but it could not have gone any better. Many of the guests also commented on what an amazing job Ginny was doing throughout the day. (Including locating the bride’s bouquet for the photographs and also the part time babysitting our daughter when we visited the venues a few days prior to the wedding)

Despite all of this, I have no intentions of becoming a repeat customer. But would highly recommend Ginny to anybody who wants to get married at Lake Garda, buy has no idea where to start. Place your trust with Ginny and you will have a wedding everybody will remember.
