Wedding dresses with pockets have burst onto the scene in recent years and we’re obsessed. Whether you’re already feeling the ‘what should I do with my hands?!’ panic, you’d love somewhere to stash your lippy for the day or you’re keen to have your phone with you for W-day selfies, the pocket is the answer.
The alternative to finding a wedding dress with pockets is to get yourself a bridal clutch bag, however if you can find a wedding dress that includes pockets too, you won't regret it as it'll enable you to carry around your essentials whilst keeping your hands free for hugs, holding your champagne and for nabbing as many canapes as you can.
From bridal ballgowns to short and sweet high street wedding dresses, we’ve tracked down the very best wedding dresses with pockets. Plus, we asked Rachel Grant, Digital and Press Manager at Justin Alexander, to answer your FAQs.

Everything You Need to Know About Wedding Dresses with Pockets
We asked Rachel Grant, Digital and Press Manager at Justin Alexander, your wedding dress with pockets FAQs.
Can a wedding dress have pockets?
"A wedding dress can absolutely have pockets! In fact, it is a very popular trend."
How do you put pockets on a wedding dress?
"Pockets in wedding dresses have become increasingly popular over recent years and often times you'll find that designers are adding them into many styles as a modern and trendy design detail. They are easily inserted into the side seam of a gown so that it blends with the silhouette, and you can't even tell it's there! If a bride finds that her wedding dress doesn't have pockets and she would like to add them in, she can work with her seamstress during her fittings to have them added exactly how she wants."
Are wedding dresses with pockets popular?
"Wedding dresses with pockets are definitely a trending feature! Often when brides are searching for 'the one', it comes down to those little unique details about a dress that make them fall in love with it. Pockets are no exception to this! We love the way brides light up with excitement when they're trying on a dress that they love and realise it has pockets. Many of our bestselling styles feature pockets such as 66163, 44080, Charleston, and April."
What are the advantages to having a wedding dress with pockets?
"An advantage to having a wedding dress with pockets is that you can keep small items in there with no one knowing! Whether it be your lipstick to touch up between your ceremony and reception, a handkerchief to dry tears of joy, or a mint to have fresh breath all day and night!"
