1. The Blue Pigeons – Worth
The Blue Pigeons is a lovely restaurant wedding venue with outdoor and indoor ceremony rooms, a wonderful lawn for drinks, delicious food and in-house DJs to whip up a party. Package prices start from only £5,775 + VAT and there’s even further midweek and off peak discounts available. Packages also include the six en-suite bedrooms so your closest family will be able to stay with you.
2. Hadlow Manor – Tonbridge
This Grade II-listed Georgian manor has so many stunning spots for your photos: from the elegant spiral staircase to the chandelier-studded Hadlow Suite to the five acres of grounds. There are three rooms to choose from, including the light and airy Garden Room that leads into the walled garden, and the intimate Goldings Room which holds up to 55 guests. Hadlow Manor has two standard wedding packages which are great value, with an exceptional winter wedding package that includes everything you could need for £3,900 between November 2020 and March 2021.
3. The George Vaults – Rochester
This 14th century wedding venue was once a church, then an inn, now a bar with a cool vaulted crypt that’s a great atmospheric space for a wedding. It’s perfect for intimate weddings of up to 70 and has some fantastic value packages. For £49.95pp, you’ll get room hire, a three course meal, half bottle of wine per person, a glass of bubbles for the toast and a Buck’s Fizz reception, plus an evening buffet. An inclusive whole day package at The George Vaults in 2021 is just £1,600.
4. Kent Life – Maidstone
Kent Life is a heritage farm park with 28 acres of land that would make a hugely fun wedding venue. Access the venue by river boat from the Archbishops Palace, or throw your ceremony in their rustic Village Hall or Old Chapel. You can use their tractor trailer free of charge, play their outdoor games like tug of war and organise animal encounters for your younger guests. With no neighbours for miles around you can dance the night away too. Hire of the Hall starts from £399, while fully inclusive catering packages start from £81pp.
5. Canterbury Cathedral Lodge – Canterbury
Set within the grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Canterbury Cathedral is the Cathedral Lodge – a truly picturesque venue. The Restaurant is perfect for intimate wedding breakfasts or you can fit up to 120 guests in the Claggett Auditorium. Their Kentish Barn has views across the Cathedral from its large bay windows, or the private Campanile Garden is your sanctuary for photos with the stunning church backdrop. With 35 bedrooms and all guests getting breakfast included and entrance to the Cathedral, it’s great for a wedding weekend. 6. Frasers – Ashford
Located on a working farm in rolling countryside, Frasers is a beautiful barn and marquee wedding venue. In summer, their lawns are calling out for reception drinks, while in winter, the barn or heated marquee are ideal for a cosy country themed wedding. They have a prop hire service so you can easily live out your rustic, country garden dreams. Venue hire starts from £1,900 and catering packages start from £80pp.
7. Pines Calyx – Dover
If you’re after a sustainable, eco-friendly wedding, Pines Calyx is the perfect choice. The innovative, low-impact chalk venue features a grass roof and comes surrounded by an organic garden – it truly looks amazing in photos. Pines holds just 10 weddings a year between April and November in its two light and spacious roundels, airy open plan foyer and cosy bar. Venue hire costs £2,500 and you are able to bring in your own caterers.
8. Hotel du Vin – Tunbridge Wells
With 34 bedrooms, this boutique hotel is ideal if you want all your guests to stay over and continue the celebrations the next day. Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells is a Grade II-listed sandstone manor that’s kept true to its history with beautiful antiques and furnishings. You’ll have access to their gardens, terrace and the hotel’s very own vineyard if you marry in one of the three stylish function rooms. Naturally their wine and food pairings are delicious too! Wedding packages start from £47pp including a three course meal, and there’s lots of different packages like an afternoon tea package from only £40pp.
9. The Barn – Tunbridge Wells
Rebuilt from a centuries old barn, this restaurant venue is bursting with history. The inside has a traditional Kentish style with oak beams and columns, while a new light-flooded Orangery overlooks their award-winning courtyard-style gardens. Fully inclusive packages at The Barn start from £2,995 for 50 guests and their inclusive drinks package includes Champagne as standard at no extra cost!
10. High Rocks – Tunbridge Wells
Located down a quiet country road, High Rocks is considered one of the South East’s premier venues. The Great Hall Barn is the largest of their three function rooms: a stunning oak framed bar with a large bar. Downstairs in The Halt, with french doors opening onto the patio and gardens (which have their own steam train stop!). Finally, the bright and airy President’s Suite which overlooks the famous High Rocks monument and gardens. Wedding packages in 2021 start from £67pp and there’s no extra room hire charge. 11. The Hop Farm – Paddock Wood
Set among the world’s largest collection of Victorian oast house (those cool, pointed drying kilns you can see in the background), The Hops Farm is a quaint and beautiful venue for a wedding. The main function space is Whites, a grand oak-beamed room, and the Garden Gazebo, for stunning summer weddings. Able to host between 10 and 400 guests, their classic package is £5,295 for 40 guests in 2021 and 2022. There’s also a fantastic twilight package for 100 guests that starts from 5pm and includes your DJ for £3,500.
12. The Weald of Kent – Headcorn
Accommodation isn’t a problem at The Weald of Kent Golf Course & Hotel, with 35 beautiful bedrooms overlooking the lakes and course for after the wedding. The day itself will be set in their suite beside the lake, which comes with a patio so there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. Packages starts from £3,500 for 50 guests during their winter season and £5,000 for a summer weekend. A carvery and wine, evening buffet, DJ, honeymoon suite and more all come included.
13. The Gardens – Yalding
With a barn, gazebo and two interlinked tipis, The Gardens is ideal for a romantic summer wedding. You’ll discover cascades of fairy lights, fire pits, and more among the 12 acres, all of which are beautiful for your photos. Tipi venues are typically quite expensive so it’s an absolute bargain to be able to hire The Gardens from £6,145 all-inclusive for 50 day guests and up to 200 evening guests!
14. Rowhill Grange Hotel and Utopia Spa – Wilmington
An 18th century manor house with a sweeping entrance and romantic gardens, Rowhill Grange Hotel is a wonderful setting for your big day. The outdoor gazebo and the Cottage are licensed for ceremonies and you’ll have your reception in the self-contained Clockhouse, which features its own bar, courtyard garden and mews bedrooms. Winter wedding packages start from £6,750 for 80 guests with a four-course meal, your DJ and eight bedrooms included. Intimate weddings for 40 guests start from £4,500 all-inclusive.

The Boat House at Bewl Water is perched on the edge of this beautiful reservoir, offering gorgeous panoramic views of the water and surrounding woodland. During warmer months, you can marry under their romantic garden gazebo, while it’s beautifully cosy inside during winter, with sparkling chandeliers and a beautiful hand-crafted oak bar. Off peak wedding packages at Little Silver Country Hotel cost £3,500 for 50 guests including a three course wedding breakfast, evening buffet, master of ceremonies, and bubbles for the toast.
19. Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel – Maidstone
Close to the historic town of Maidstone and adjacent to the majestic Leeds Castle is the Mercure hotel. With four rooms to marry in, the hotel can cater from intimate to grand weddings and also specialise in large Asian weddings. You can even have an outdoor ceremony under their gazebo with a helicopter arrival! There’s 126 bedrooms including two newly refurbished bridal suites and parking for 500 cars so don’t skimp on your guest list. As the evening draws in, log fires will keep you warm, and guests can even camp on-site to keep the party going. Our favourite part? The bridal suite tree house! Venue hire of Wise Wedding is £3,000, but with a hog roast for 125 guests at £800, a £200 corkage fee, and a few other necessities you can hire too, you can have a full wedding package for under £6,000 for 100 guests.
