Cripps & Co pride themselves on exceptional service, good wine and the most delicious of flame-cooked feasts. To us, that sounds like the perfect combination!

We start with their first and largest venue: the Tithe Barn in Bolton Abbey. We can totally see why it has been described as “one of the most romantic wedding settings in England.”

Not only is it Grade II listed and wrapped in breathtaking Yorkshire countryside, it offers endless food options.

Whether you fancy an Indian or French style feast, barbecued whole lambs or beef served on the bone and carved by the guests, there will be something to tickle your taste buds. You can even serve up sourdough pizzas in the evening!

The Long Barn is the venue’s ceremony barn; we can’t think of anything more romantic than saying “I do” underneath a canopy of fairy lights and surrounded by over 100 candles.

Hazel Gap Barn is Cripps’ Nottinghamshire offering. It is made up of two traditional red brick farm buildings – the Barn itself and the Farmhouse.

They sit either side of a walled courtyard which is decorated with fairy lights, flares, fire pits and lanterns. It is the perfect courtyard to host post-ceremony drinks or for the party to spill out into in the summer months.

One of Cripps’ oldest venues is Cripps Barn: a stunning, rustic barn in Gloucestershire which was opened in 1990.

Since the team here have over 25 years’ experience, you’ll enjoy your day in a totally relaxed fashion. Say “I do” beneath an oak structure outside in the glade in the woods, then party until 1am in the Main Stone Barn.

Our favourite part of this venue? The unique offering of free camping! What a lovely touch.

Cripps Barn is not the only Cripps and Co venue in the beautiful county of Gloucestershire; sitting just a few miles away on the Gloucestershire-Oxfordshire border is Stone Barn.

This is one of the group’s largest venues. It seats up to 194 people in the dramatic Dutch Barns, making it perfect for a larger feast-style wedding breakfast.

At Stone Barn, you’re whole-heartedly encouraged to bring your own marshmallows and sparklers to make the most of the fire pits outside and create some striking wedding photographs.

Last but not least is Shustoke Farm Barns, Cripps and Co’s Warwickshire Barn which holds up to 250 guests and boasts some of the most high-tech features around.

There is a large glass panel looking into the kitchen, so guests can see their food being prepared, as well as remote controlled lights to spotlight tables and colour changing LED uplighters. Your guests will be wowed.
