Pantone have announced that Living Coral is their Colour of the Year for 2019. It’s a joyful shade of orange with a golden undertone and we are totally in love.
The shade represents warmth and nourishment, and not only conjures thoughts of coral reefs and sea life but calm and serenity.

Pantone notes that they’ve chosen this colour because of an “innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits” and “authentic and immersive experiences that enable connection and intimacy”.
Living Coral is a shade which will work across all seasons. It will work beautifully with injections of pink and yellow at a summer wedding, but equally as well with deeper reds or blacks in the winter.
With the coral shade being thrust into the limelight, it is set to be a big wedding trend for 2019, so from your invites to your bridesmaid dresses, here are our favourite ways to incorporate it into your wedding.
