25 of the Most Unique & Unusual Places to Get Married in London
Want something that'll make your guest's jaws drop? How about getting married in a zoo, music hall, central London castle or gold centre?
We love nothing more than a city wedding, but if you want to ensure your day is different to every other do you've been to, we suggest you consider unique wedding venues in London.
Though London pub wedding venues and gorgeous hotels make excellent wedding day backdrops, some couples just want a little bit more from their venue, and if you're one of those couples, you're in good company here.
Quirky wedding venues in London are actually fairly easy to come by. The city is brimming with history, and because of that, it's home to a number of historic buildings which still have many of their original features intact.
As well as historic buildings and museums, the city is also home to several industrial warehouse wedding venues which act as blank canvases for you and your partner to go wild on - when something is plain and empty, it's so easy for you to leave your unique mark on it.
Adding to that, there's rooftop bars, old music halls, golf centres and even a castle are amongst the list of unusual London wedding venues that you can hire.
25 of the Most Unique Wedding Venues in London
Because there are so many cool London wedding venues out there, we've decided to round up our top picks. Here you can browse our edit of 25 of the best and most unique wedding venues in London.
1. Brunel Museum - Rotherhithe
Culture vulture couples looking for quirky wedding venues in London should consider one of the many museums in the city. One of our favourites is the Brunel Museum which can be found in the South East of London, just a stone's throw from Bermondsey.
The Grade II listed building was originally founded in the 1800s by the Brunels, a famous engineering family. Although its purpose is much different now, the industrial vibe and décor throughout this historic building really rings true to its history.
Inside you will find exposed concrete, original brick walls, unique artwork and cultural exhibitions. Because of this, you have very little to do in terms of wedding venue décor as the bones of this place are too good to transform into anything else.

And if you're the kind of couple who's into your food and loves to explore the city, you'll be pleased to know the venue sits on the same street as an authentic Spanish bodega, Neapolitan pizza restaurant and a craft beer bar. Talk about good company!
