Manor By The Lake is an award-winning. exclusive-use country house set on the edge of Cheltenham in the middle of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by seven acres of enchanting private grounds, with a beautiful Italian Pavilion and its namesake lake, this is a a truly spectacular and romantic setting for a wedding.
Licensed for outdoor ceremonies and indoor ceremonies for up to 300 guests, the team are experienced in catering for large cultural and religious weddings, but can also help plan much more intimate gatherings.
After a gorgeous wedding in the Grand Ballroom or under the Pavilion, you can enjoy a delicious dinner, from mouth-watering street food, a vegan-friendly feast or a decadent three-course sit-down meal.
You'll fall into bed in one of their 12 beautifully-appointed bedrooms; think free-standing baths, four-poster beds and luxurious décor. The rooms suit the vibe of the venue so well: luxurious, stylish and romantic.
2. Stone Barn
You'll find Stone Barn on the Gloucestershire-Oxfordshire border, between Burford and Northleach. Perched on a peaceful hill, these adjoining historic Dutch barns offer sweeping views over the Cotswolds and amazing original features, like flagstone floors, a huge open fireplace, wooden beams and cool corrugated iron roofs.

3. The Barn at Upcote
Tucked away down a long private drive near the village of Withington, The Barn at Upcote is a beautiful, secluded set of Cotswold stone barns that are ideal for an elegant rustic wedding.
Set around a lovely courtyard, the barns are a dream blank canvas for decorating exactly how you want and their set-up helps your day flow beautifully. You'll find flexible spaces for your ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast and evening entertainment, alongside an on-site bar. All that space means it's great come rain or shine - your day will run smoothly regardless of the British weather!
There are numerous locations around the venue and on the surrounding farmland that make a gorgeous backdrop for your photos - frankly, the barns alone have stolen our heart!
The Barn at Upcote can hose up to 110 people for your ceremony and wedding breakfast in their Threshing Barn, while a further 40 can join you to dance the night away.
4. The Frogmill
We can't get enough of the views at Cotswold wedding venues, and The Frogmill has bags of them. Nestled in the hills on the edge of Shipton Oliffe and Andoversford, this 17th century inn is an idyllic spot on the edge of Cheltenham, with easy access from London.
This 28-bedroom hotel is picture-perfect, with extensive grounds, a river and watermill, and restored period features. The dramatic vaulted ceiling in the airy Mill room is great for ceremonies and has a beautiful minstrel gallery imported from France that makes for a truly romantic arrival of the couple and wedding party.
The raised sun terrace is one of our favourite spots and overlooks the landscaped gardens. It's the perfect spot for reception drinks with loved ones and your photographer will thank you for giving them such a backdrop to shoot at.
On cooler days, The Snug can host you inside - don't be fooled by the name, there's plenty of room for all your guests in this classically-styled lounge. Think cost sofas, rustic-luxe wooden décor and plenty of Cotswold charm so you'll feel totally relaxed.
5. Hyde House
Hyde House in Fosseway is a modern, stylish and relaxed barn wedding venue near Cheltenham which seats 150 guests. The stunning courtyard overlooks the Cotswold countryside and their lovely gardens, which include the Arbor for outdoor weddings.
There are two barns here - The Grange where you'll have your ceremony and The Barn which is a beautiful oak-beamed dining hall. The Barn is a blank canvas space that each couple can put their stamp on and comes with a comfortable lounge bar, a spacious suite to get ready and an upstairs lounge.
The team's ethos is 'your day, your style' and they'll go out their way to made a wedding at Hyde House personal and unique to your and your guests.
Able to host between 75 and 175 guests, the catering team will fill you up with fantastic locally-sourced food while the wedding planning team will help you out through the entire planning process and be with you on the day. At the end of the night, there ae 20 on-site bedrooms to fall into.
6. The Swan Hotel
In the nearby town of Cirencester is The Swan Hotel, which sits on the banks of the River Coln. This enchanting 18th century country house is clad with ivy and surrounded by well-manicured English gardens that guests can lose themselves wandering in.
Abounding with charm, The Library is the spot for small weddings. It accommodates up to 26 guests and features rich red walls, beautiful wooden floors and a magnificent original fireplace.
