1. Holmes Mill
This former textile mill is packed with personality. At Holmes Mill you'll find gorgeous period details alongside luxurious modern facilities.
Civil ceremonies take place in the Function Room, which can seat up to 180 guests.
For the reception, you and your guests will head to the industrial-chic Engine Room for a feast to remember.
There's plenty of accommodation in the Spinning Block Hotel, which features 39 individually designed bedrooms.
2. Alberts Standish
Looking for a restaurant wedding venue in Lancashire? Alberts Standish is a stylish option, with three spaces for a ceremony and reception, all of which have private terraces.
The food here is modern British with Italian influences, all created from fresh, seasonal produce. It's worth checking out the wedding menus - they look absolutely mouthwatering!
3. Casterton Grange
Casterton Grange is a truly enchanting wedding venue. The Victorian manor house is stunning, and features luxe interiors and excellent facilities, including a second kitchen for catering.
The grounds contain a lake, walled garden and tennis court, and are beautifully maintained.
This private, exclusive-use estate would be perfect for a get-away-from-it-all wedding weekend. There's accommodation for 34 on-site, and you can extend this by setting up a glamping site in the garden.
4. Holmfirth Vineyard
You may associate a wedding in a vineyard with Italy or France - in fact, you don't have to leave the UK to live the country dream! Holmfirth Vineyard in Lancashire has a glorious location surrounded by countryside - and, of course, you can expect excellent wine.
Weddings take place in the Solaris Suite, which is licensed for civil ceremonies.
The venue can accommodate up to 140 but is also a lovely setting for a more intimate wedding.

5. Bartle Hall Country House & Coaching Barn
We do love a country house hotel wedding, and Lancashire's Bartle Hall is a particularly pretty venue. There are some lovely celebration spaces, including the option to get married in the grounds in good weather.
As well as the main house, there's a a coaching barn that has a laidback feel.
The venue is available on an exclusive use basis, and there are different packages to suit your wedding style and budget.
6. Wyresdale Park
Looking for a unique wedding venue in Lancashire? Wyresdale Park could be your perfect match. This alluring estate contains all the elements you'd want for a wonderful country wedding: three wedding barns (one for each part of your day); magnificent grounds including a boating lake; and a glampsite for overnight guests.
Wyresdale Park also contains some extra-special elements you didn't even know you needed! We're talking about the on-site spa - such a fabulous idea - an idyllic tavern for after-hours drinks that connects the wedding barns, and a rowing boat to take out on the lake.
7. The Glass House at Staining Lodge
The trouble with rustic wedding venues is that some of them can be a bit dark. Not so The Glass House at Staining Lodge. This Lancashire venue uses rustic features such as wooden beams in a fresh-feeling space that's flooded with light and has amazing country views.
The clean white walls mean that this is a venue that can be transformed to suit your individual style.
8. The Out Barn
You'll have plenty of spaces to play with at The Out Barn. This seventeenth-century hay barn has been given a stunning contemporary makeover with a cedar-clad extension designed to make the most of the country views.
The original barn is still there, and is an atmospheric space for a celebration. There's also a south-facing bar with a terrace and fire pits.
This exclusive-use venue can host 150 for a ceremony and sit-down meal, and a further 100 for the evening. There's scope to put up a marquee or tipi in the grounds.

9. Mitton Hall
Country house hotel Mitton Hall is an elegant place for a wedding. Set amid the beautiful Ribble Valley, the fifteenth-century manor house with immaculate gardens would be a refined backdrop for photos.
This is a versatile venue that can cater to different sizes of guest list, from intimate wedding to celebrations for up to 250 guests.
There are 18 individually designed bedrooms, so your nearest and dearest can stay overnight and enjoy a celebratory breakfast the next day.
10. Gisburne Park Estate
Looking to hold an outdoor wedding? Lancashire's Gisburne Park Estate is the venue to know about.
Your canvas is a 10-acre private valley where you can set up tipis or sperry tents to create a festival feel. Ceremonies take place on the estate's private island, or there's an ancient church nearby.
Your guests will be spoilt for choice when it comes to accommodation, as there are plenty of lodges, cottages and houses on site - each of which has a hot tub!
The venue can also set up luxury bell tents by the river for a glamping experience.
11. Brockholes Nature Reserve
Brockholes is a floating wedding venue set within the nature reserve. It's a truly unusual venue, and the lake surroundings will make for some excellent photo opportunities, as well as a romantic backdrop to your wedding vows.
You can have a wedding breakfast in one of the indoor spaces, or really make the most of the setting and treat your guests to a barbecue on the floating village.
12. Eaves Hall
For a grandly glamorous wedding in Lancashire, we recommend Eaves Hall. That's not to say you have to have a larger guest list to get married here - while the hotel can cater for up to 250, they also host wonderfully intimate celebrations for 30+ people.
You'll find opulent interiors and beautiful grounds - to really take advantage of the latter, you can have an outdoor ceremony in the pavilion or veranda.

13. Bashall Barn
This Ribble Valley barn wedding venue is wonderfully stylish - those white wooden walls are a real point of difference from the typical rustic celebration space.
To make the most of the wonderful views, there's a balcony with a fire pit.
14. Beeston Manor
Beeston Manor is a beautiful family-run wedding venue with a laidback yet elegant feel, surrounded by idyllic countryside.
The sixteenth-century barn features sandstone walls and oak beams, and is a rustic blank canvas for all kinds of wedding style.
There's an emphasis on great food here, with all menus overseen by the in-house head chef.
15. Farington Lodge Hotel
Pretty country hotel Farington Lodge has a beautiful setting, with landscaped garden and magical woodland. They only host one wedding per day, which will make the whole thing feel more special.
The venue is licensed for ceremonies, including outdoor ceremonies in the pavilion.
16. Hobbit Hill
If you're looking for a countryside idyll for your wedding, you need to know about Hobbit Hill. Located amid the dramatic scenery of Lancashire's Ribble Valley, this is a blank canvas wedding venue where you can enjoy a whole weekend of festivities.
Everything here has been designed to make the most of the incredible setting. The Wedding Barn, for example, has bi-fold doors you can open to really bring the outside in. You can have a woodland ceremony in the Round Wood, with tree trunks as seating. And there are glamping pods for your guests to retreat to at the end of the night.
17. Browsholme Hall & The Tithe Barn
You'll have plenty of choice at this beautiful Lancashire wedding venue - Browsholme Hall has five ceremony spaces, from the elegant Regency Drawing Room to the outdoor Lily Pond that's surrounded by cherry blossom.
Receptions are held in the atmospheric Tithe Barn, with high ceilings and oak beams. It's a blank canvas that you can decorate to suit your style.
There's also a courtyard with fire pit, wood-fired pizza oven and outdoor bar.
