Halloween queens such as Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton and Beyoncé pull family and couple Halloween costumes out of the bag every year that make the world’s jaw drop - and they’re not alone! 1. Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott - Anne Hegerty and The Chase Board

We were literally falling off our seats laughing when we saw that Sam Thompson decided to dress up as Anne Hegerty, aka The Governess. If that wasn’t hilarious enough, his girlfriend, Zara McDermott came as the chase board itself.

These two are known for their seriously funny reels and posts on Instagram, but they’ve really outdone themselves with this celebrity couple Halloween costume.

2. Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott - Friday Night and Saturday Morning

Sam and Zara gifted fans with not one, but two couple’s Halloween costumes. With their first being a tough act to follow, we were pleasantly surprised with the humour and creativity of the second. Zara, looking absolutely stunning, dressed up as ‘Friday night’, while boyfriend Sam donned the same outfit - slightly more dishevelled, however - and dressed as ‘Saturday morning’.

This is such a fun and simple Halloween costume for couples that any couple could have a go at - it’s so easily to replicate and you can choose your own style and theme. 

3. Heidi Kulm and Tom Kaulitz - Fisherman and a Worm

There’s no such thing as the ‘Queen of Halloween’, but if it existed, there’s no doubt that Heidi Klum should be the respected title holder. She is famous around the world for her legendary Halloween costumes and somehow manages to top her last idea every year.

This year, her and husband Tom Kaulitz left the world’s jaws on the floor as they dressed up as a fisherman and a worm. Sounds simple, but Heidi’s depiction of the worm was anything but. She arrived at her Halloween party encased in a gory maggot shell, wriggling around the floor like a real insect, only to emerge from the suit wearing a stunning, sparkly bodysuit.

4. Dorit Kemsley and Family - The Incredibles

Why stick to a couple’s celebrity Halloween costume when you can involve the whole family? That’s the motto adopted by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley. Dorit, her husband PK and their two children Jagger and Phoenix decided to dress up as the iconic Incredibles family for Halloween in 2018.

Perfect for couples who want to involve their children, The Incredibles are great inspiration for a look that involves the whole family. Dorit loves Halloween and has previously dressed up as Wonder Woman, Ghost Busters, Marvellous Mrs Maisel and the Mario franchise - all of which involved Jagger and Phoenix.

5. Darby Ward and Michael Jackson - Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter

Darby Ward and her new husband Michael Jackson (not that one…) looked incredible dressed as the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts from the famous Alice in Wonderland adventures. Darby’s outfit was detailed and beautiful and the finishing touches to both of their costumes really elevated the overall look.

To add some gore to her look, Darby added blood and some mangled playing cards to her chest, giving the illusion they were being ripped out of her body - we love it!

6. Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Their Children - Proud Family

Similarly to PK and Dorit, Beyoncé and Jay-Z love a family Halloween costume. This year the Carters dressed up as Disney’s *The Proud Family. A fitting choice for the famous family - their choice wasn’t random at all.

Beyonce and sister Solange sang the theme tune along with Beyonce’s ex-band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The famous Disney show was rebooted in February 2022 as The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.

7. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner - Morticia and Tony Addams

2018 saw one of our favourite couples Halloween costumes from Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. The pair dressed up as Morticia and Tony Addams from the Addams Family and the resemblance was uncanny.

From the pasty skin and exaggerated features to the jet-black hair and striking make-up, they absolutely nailed the look. It’s such an easy couples Halloween costume to replicate if you’re after an idea that doesn’t require buying new clothes. Who doesn’t have something black and spooky in their wardrobe?

8. Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham - Romeo and Juliet

Newlyweds Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham tied the knot in April of this year. Proving they are still very much in love and in the honeymoon period, the pair decided to dress up as the ultimate romance novel couple, Romeo and Juliet. Donning costumes from Baz Luhrmann’s depiction of Romeo and Juliet, these two could give Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes a run for their money.

9. Gemma Collins and Rami Hawash - Bunny and Boxer

If Insta-stalking the GC isn’t your biggest guilty pleasure, you absolutely cannot sit with us. We love the TOWIE legend’s content so it’s no surprise that we’re a little obsessed with her Halloween look.

Gemma attended the KISS Haunted House Halloween party this year alongside her boyfriend Rami Hawash. She wore a black latex bunny outfit with a seriously cinched waist, while Rami donned a black cloak and gory eye.

10. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum - Captain Marvel & Spiderman

Paris Hilton, like Heidi Klum, has fans waiting in anticipation every year to see what she’s come up with for Halloween. This year did not disappoint! She and husband Carter Reum dressed up in not one, not two, but three different couples' Halloween outfits.

The first was Captain Marvel and Spiderman. Paying homage to DC and Marvel fans in the most glamorous of ways, Paris posted pictures in character scaling the front gates of her home. 

11. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum - FBI Agents

As their second celebrity couple Halloween outfit, Paris and Carter decided to dress the part as FBI agents. Complete with jewelled handcuffs, a latex choker and a crop top, Paris couldn’t have picked a more practical and realistic costume to represent America’s federal agency…

12. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum - Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask

Giving a more kitschy vibe, Paris and Carter chose Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask as their third and final double Halloween costume. Anime character Sailor Moon shines on screen, but Paris broke the internet amongst fans with her even-more-glamorous interpretation of the famous character. Fans couldn’t get over the fact that Carter joined in on the fun and dressed up as co-star Tuxedo Mask.

13. Jesy Nelson and Noah Sapon - Pam and Tommy

Little Mix Star may not be in a relationship with friend and model Noah Sapon, but the pair looked incredible dressed up as infamous couple Pam and Tommy. Depicting the well-known marriage between actress Pamela Anderson and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Jesy and Noah looked incredible together. 

14. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly - Pam and Tommy

And Jesy and Noah weren’t the only celebs to choose Pam and Tommy for their couple look. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly also depicted the famous pair in an Instagram post on Halloween.

Megan donned a blonde wig and fitted pink dress while MGK rocked Tommy Lee’s famous white vest and necklace paired with black sunglasses. But that wasn’t the only Halloween costume the celebrity couple showcased this year… 

15. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly - Christian Saints

Megan and MGK are notorious for pushing boundaries on social media and their depiction of Christian Saints was no exception. Their costumes made reference to Catholicism and Christianity and was the subject of major backlash on social media.

Some called it blasphemous and disrespectful, others praised the pair for the styling and took it much less seriously. Whatever side of the debate your opinion lies on, we couldn't leave this look out of the round up (mainly because it's seared into our brains).

Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness delighted fans with his and husband Mark London’s comical double Halloween costume. Exuding femininity and style, the cute couple dressed up as Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone, the famous characters from Absolutely Fabulous.

We’re completely obsessed with that sequin dress and the iconic Patsy tweed suit - it’s utter perfection. One of our favourite celebrity Halloween costumes for sure!

17. Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope - Chucky and Chucky’s Bride

Love Island couple Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope are one of the reality tv couples who are still together after the show - and thank god because we absolutely love this cute pair. For Halloween this year, Indiyah and Dami dressed up as horror movie character Chucky and Chucky’s bride.

Dami donned blue overalls and a stripy t-shirt and even sprayed his hair red for the night, whilst Indiyah looked amazing in bride-white with a bodysuit and train duo and leather accessories to give the outfit some edge. Here’s a celebrity couple who know how to make fancy dress look cool!

18. Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French - Zoo Keepers

Ashley Tisdale is a style icon and also the ambassador of one of our favourite wedding hair curlers, the Beach Waver. Her and husband Christopher French decided to keep it cute this Halloween and dress up as chic zoo keepers.

Their outfits were finished off with mis-matching neck scarves and cool sunglasses, as well as their gorgeous daughter Jupiter who was dressed as a baby unicorn. So sweet!

19. Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma - Twins From The Shining

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma attended one of LA’s most exclusive Halloween parties hosted by TOWIE star Vas Morgan and his partner Michael Braun. These two make such a cute couple, but their outfit theme was anything but.

Really tapping into the creepy side of Halloween costumes, Rebel and Ramona dressed up as the twin sisters from The Shining. As creepy as the characters are, the couple still managed to look super stylish and we love the fact that they were matching.

20. Chrishell Stause and G Flip - Each Other

All eyes were on Chrishell Stause at the Selling Sunset reunion in May this year as she announced her unexpected romance with rapper G Flip. The couple got together after meeting on the set of G Flip’s music video that Chrishell starred in. For Halloween, the pair did something very unique, and decided to dress up with each other.
