19 Celebrity Weddings to Watch Out for in 2024

2023 was an iconic year for celebrity wedding dresses and big, luxe celebrations, but the best thing about famous couples is that they just keep on coming, meaning that there's also a whole host of brilliant celebrity weddings in 2024 to look forward to.

As well as weddings, 2023 saw a number of jaw-dropping celebrity engagements, with huge names like Rebel Wilson, Nicole Scherzinger and Millie Bobby Brown announcing big news on Instagram. 

As well as those who got engaged this year, there are also a number of famous couples who have been planning their weddings for a few years now - Vicky Pattison, we're looking at you - so we're expecting 2024 to be a big year for celebrity I dos.

Celebrities Weddings We Hope to See in 2024

Our round up of celebrity weddings we hope to see in 2024 includes couples who have announced official dates, and other wedding planning pairs who we hope will tie the knot next year. From pop stars and reality TV couples to television presenters and footballers, 2024 is set to be a huge year for celebrity weddings! 

1. Vicky Pattison & Ercan Ram

Vicky announced her engagement to boyfriend Ercan Ramadan in February 2022 whilst they were on holiday in Dubai, just a few days after Valentine's day. Ever since we caught a glimpse of that celebrity engagement ring, we've been itching for more details of Vicky and Ercan's upcoming wedding. 

Though there are no concrete plans that have been announced, we're pleased to confirm that our girl Vicky is fully engrossed in wedding planning and is said to be tying the knot with Ercan in spring or summer 2024. She recently threw a dinner party to ask more than a dozen of her friends to be bridesmaids, so we're expecting big things from this wedding.

2. Tommy Mallet & Georgia Kousoulou

Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou have already achieved the title as TOWIE's longest lasting relationship, and their relationship reached a new level in February 2022 when Tommy popped the question.

Tommy proposed to Georgia whilst the pair were on holiday in Mexico. The elaborate gesture was caught on camera and aired on their show, Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps.

Gushing about his fiancé, Tommy said: “Since having the baby with Georgia I’ve realised she’s like superwoman, she’s the best mum ever.” 

The couple are in the midst of wedding planning, and one thing we know for certain is that Georgia will be a celebrity who changes her name after marriage. Tommy explained that having the same name as him and their son is something that is really important to Georgia.

We're hoping to see these two tie the knot in 2024 and can't wait to see what they've planned. 

3. Jill Scott & Shelly Unitt

Jill Scott proposed to her partner Shelly Unitt in March 2020. The pair both shared the engagement, which took place at the couples' café, on their Instagram accounts later that month.

The pair have every reason to celebrate, there's the engagement, the success of their jointly owned coffee shop business, the iconic win at the Euros this summer and of course, Jill being crowned as Queen of the Jungle in November. 

Following Jill's success on last year's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, it comes as no surprise that these two didn't tie the knot this year - their schedules have been chocker-block! But we're hoping these two find some time to say 'I do' in 2024. What better way to celebrate all those achievements than with a fabulous celebrity wedding?

4. Amy Hart & Sam Rason

Former Love Islander Amy Hart and her partner Sam Rason welcomed their first child, Stanley, together at the beginning of this year, and just six months later, the couple announced they were engaged. 

The reality TV star shared the news with her 1.1million Instagram followers, saying, "And he said…"hey, whatcha doin’ the rest of your life?”💍 Well and truly the biggest surprise ever ❤️ We are so happy 😍 (literally thought I was watching show rehearsals hence why I have no shoes on-Amz x)"

5. Ella Henderson & Jack Burnell

Ella Henderson and now-fiancé Jack Burnell started 2023 off with a bang, announcing their engagement in January this year. 

The X Factor singer and the Olympic swimmer met during lockdown back in 2020 and have been loved up ever since. The couple got engaged during a getaway to Mauritius and Ella announced the news on Instagram, saying, "So this happened 💍🥲☺️… here’s to life with you & all it’s adventures @jackrexburnell ♥️"

6. Nick Grimshaw & Mesh Henry

Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw has been officially off of the market since he met partner Mesh Henry in 2018, but the couple's relation reached the next level on 31st March 2022 when Mesh proposed. 

Announcing their engagement on social media, Nick wrote, "And in gay news this evening….got proposed to, said yes obvs."

Dancer Mesh added to the post writing, "In gay news, proposed init."

2023 didn't see either of these two walking down the aisle, but we're dying for wedding bells in 2024 - just imagine how star-studded the guest list will be! 

7. Zoe 'Zoella' Sugg & Alfie Deyes

It feels like just yesterday we were addicted to Zoella's YouTube channel, but the influencer is all grown up and officially engaged to her partner of 11 years, Alfie Deyes.

The couple announced their engagement in a sweet black and white video which showcases the (very large) rock on Zoe's hand. The pair shared the video in a joint post with a simple caption that read "🤍".

They already share one daughter together, Ottilie, and have another on the way, but we're hoping they squeeze a wedding into their busy 2024 plans. 

Yes, we feel old too!

8. Montana Brown & Mark O'Connor

Another ex-Love Islander to announce their engagement in 2023 was Montana Brown. 

The influencer and entrepreneur announced she and partner Mark O'Connor were engaged to marry on 13th April this year. 

The pair already have their hands full next year, having just welcomed their first child together, so why not throw planning a wedding into the mix as well, hey?

9. Nicole Scherzinger & Thom Evans

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger announced she was engaged to partner and rugby player Thom Evans in June this year after three years of dating.

The couple met back in 2019 whilst filming the first (and only!) series of The X Factor: Celebrity when Nicole was a judge and Thom was a contestant and one third of the boy band Try Star.

Thom got down on one knee on a sandy beach whilst the couple were on holiday together. Is that a sign that they might opt for a beach wedding venue? Here's to hoping we find out in 2024. 

10. Millie Bobby Brown & Jake Bongiovi

Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown, 19, had some big news to share with her fans in April this year.

On the 11th April, she announced to her 63.5million followers that she was in fact engaged to boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, 20. 

Alongside a sweet black and white picture of the couple looking absolutely elated, the star penned, "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all 🤍"

11. Chef Ben & Kiara Cabral

Below Deck fans will be delighted to hear that everyone's favourite cook, Chef Ben, has finally made an honest man of himself. He announced his engagement to partner Kiara Cabral after four years together.

Whilst sharing the news on Instagram, Ben referred to himself as the 'luckiest man alive' , writing, "After a wonderful 4 year relationship with my love Kiara I decided to take the next step and propose… I feel like the luckiest man alive!

"Thank you to my friends and family for all of your support. I couldn’t have done it without you, and obviously thank you to Kiara for saying yes and making an honest man out of me, I love you."

12. Captain Sandy & Leah Shafer

Fans of Below Deck got to enjoy not one, but two engagements in 2023 with Captain Sandy also announcing her engagement.

The much loved boat captain shared her happy news with fans on Instagram, saying, "It official! I asked Leah to marry me, and she said YESSSSS. We are engaged! stay tuned for wedding 💍 [sic]"

The pair have been together for five years now, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that it'll be a quick wedding turnaround. We wonder whether any of the deck crew will make it onto the guest list? 

13. Rebel Wilson & Ramona Agruma

We're aware of Disney weddings and Disney honeymoons, but a Disney engagement is even cuter, no?

We've been beyond obsessed with Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma ever since they confirmed their relationship back in summer 2022, so we were delighted when the couple announced they were engaged in February this year. 

If the engagement was this elaborate -  just imagine what they have in store for the wedding!

14. Thomas Brodie-Sangster & Talulah Riley

If you thought the fact that our Zoella was engaged made you feel old, wait until you hear about this.

Thomas Brodie Sangster (AKA little Sam from Love Actually) is 33 years old and engaged to be married. Mind. Blown.

He shared the news on Instagram with the caption, "Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged. Love is all around X," - we love the nod to Love Actually in the caption and hope there are even more film anecdotes in the wedding itself.

15. Phoebe Waller-Bridge & Martin McDonagh

Though it's not officially confirmed, it has been reported that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is engaged, and we're pumped!

The actress, 38, is reportedly engaged to her long term boyfriend Martin McDonagh, 53, after she was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring at her brother's wedding in pictures obtained by Page Six.

The couple have been together for six years after meeting back in 2017. 

16. Scarlett Moffatt & Scott Dobinson

Okay so Scarlett Moffatt and her boyfriend aren't *technically* engaged, but hear us out on this one...

While there's no engagement announcement just yet, Scarlett has spoken about her wedding, a lot. In February 2021, on her podcast Scarlett Moffatt Wants to Believe, she said, “I’m not actually engaged yet, but I assume he’s going to do it at some point. I've always wanted a massive wedding but now I keep saying 'Let’s go to Vegas!'”

Though we hoped she'd be a celebrity wedding of 2022, Scarlett put a pin in that plan, confirming that the wedding wouldn't be this year. And whilst we then hoped they'd tie the knot in 2023, the couple had more important things on the list - like having a baby.

Scarlett and Scott welcomed their son Jude Xavier Dobinson in June this year, so here's hoping that little Jude gets to be involved in a wedding this year because we know Scarlett will make the most beautiful bride. We can just picture the little page boy outfit for Jude now! 

17. Elektra Fence & 'Mr Fence'

Elektra Fence and freelance artist Bonjour Duckie (referred to as Mr Fence by Elektra) announced their Christmas engagement in 2022 with an Instagram post complete with the following caption: “So… This happened! Mr Fence Proposed! @bonjourduckie The love of my life proposed to me today wtf!”

While their wedding planning is underway, Elektra has taken on another important role, as our very own Hitched Dragony Aunt. She's given advice on how to get your partner to propose, and what to do if being a bridesmaid is taking over your life.

18. Myleene Klass & Simon Motson

Super romantic fashion PR Simon Motson proposed to Myleene Klass in their garden shed - but wait, it gets better! He’d revamped it so it became a replica of the bar that the couple first met, eight years ago now on a blind date. 

He proposed with a unique black diamond engagement ring (a casual nine-carats, folks) - but we're still waiting to hear wedding bells from these two. Will 2024 be their year?

19. Stephanie Waring & Tom Brookes

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring got engaged to her fiancé Tom Brookes on their couple’s first anniversary in December 2021, announcing it with an Instagram post complete with the following sentimental caption: “And on the 365th day he asked me to be his wife. He’s the one.”

The couple didn’t wait long to get engaged - so we thought they would be a wedding to watch in 2022, but last year and this one didn't see them tie the knot. We're excited to see what 2024 brings them and hope wedding bells are on the horizon.
