Celebrity Weddings to Watch Out for in 2025

2023 was an iconic year for celebrity wedding dresses and big, luxe celebrations, but the best thing about famous couples is that they just keep on coming, meaning that there's also a whole host of brilliant celebrity weddings in 2024 to look forward to.

As well as weddings, 2023 saw a number of jaw-dropping celebrity engagements, with huge names like Rebel Wilson, Nicole Scherzinger and Millie Bobby Brown announcing big news on Instagram. 

As well as those who got engaged this year, there are also a number of famous couples who have been planning their weddings for a few years now - Vicky Pattison, we're looking at you - so we're expecting 2024 to be a big year for celebrity I dos.

Celebrities Weddings We Hope to See in 2024

Our round up of celebrity weddings we hope to see in 2024 includes couples who have announced official dates, and other wedding planning pairs who we hope will tie the knot next year. From pop stars and reality TV couples to television presenters and footballers, 2024 is set to be a huge year for celebrity weddings! 

1. Benny Blanco & Selena Gomez

After Disney Channel alumni Selena Gomez posted a picture of a HUGE diamond ring on her Instagram, complete with the caption: "Forever begins now", we are hyped for this wedding.

Selena and fiancé Benny Blanco collaborated in 2019, and again in 2023 before announcing their relationship and the pair seem so loved up, they've been on our wedding radar for a while.

Selena announced her engagement to Benny on Instagram, where she is the most-followed woman on the app, and her celeb pals were quick to comment, with Taylor Swift declaring she'll be the flower girl. We literally cannot wait for this wedding. 

2. Tommy Mallet & Georgia Kousoulou

Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou have already achieved the title as TOWIE's longest lasting relationship, and their relationship reached a new level in February 2022 when Tommy popped the question.

Tommy proposed to Georgia whilst the pair were on holiday in Mexico. The elaborate gesture was caught on camera and aired on their show, Georgia & Tommy: Baby Steps.

Gushing about his fiancé, Tommy said: “Since having the baby with Georgia I’ve realised she’s like superwoman, she’s the best mum ever.” 

The couple had a legal wedding ceremony on the 1st December 2023 at a London register office, and Tommy did a throwback post for their anniversary saying: "Not long until the big one," so watch this space!

3. Jill Scott & Shelly Unitt

Jill Scott proposed to her partner Shelly Unitt in March 2020. The pair both shared the engagement, which took place at the couples' café, on their Instagram accounts later that month.

Following Jill's success on last year's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, it comes as no surprise that these two are yet to tie the knot. But we're hoping these two find some time to say 'I do' in 2025. What better way to celebrate all those achievements than with a fabulous celebrity wedding?

4. Ella Henderson & Jack Burnell

Ella Henderson and now-fiancé Jack Burnell started 2023 off with a bang, announcing their engagement in January 2023.  

The X Factor singer and the Olympic swimmer met during lockdown back in 2020 and have been loved up ever since. The couple got engaged during a getaway to Mauritius and Ella announced the news on Instagram, saying, "So this happened 💍🥲☺️… here’s to life with you & all it’s adventures @jackrexburnell ♥️"

5. Nick Grimshaw & Mesh Henry

Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw has been officially off of the market since he met partner Mesh Henry in 2018, but the couple's relation reached the next level on 31st March 2022 when Mesh proposed. 

Announcing their engagement on social media, Nick wrote, "And in gay news this evening….got proposed to, said yes obvs."

Dancer Mesh added to the post writing, "In gay news, proposed init."

The couple were reported to be getting married in 2024, but Nick revealed the plans had been delayed, saying the pair kept 'forgetting' to plan their wedding. Fingers crossed we see them tie the knot in 2025!

6. Zoe 'Zoella' Sugg & Alfie Deyes

It feels like just yesterday we were addicted to Zoella's YouTube channel, but the influencer is all grown up and officially engaged to her partner Alfie Deyes.

The couple announced their engagement in a sweet black and white video which showcases the (very large) rock on Zoe's hand. The pair shared the video in a joint post with a simple caption that read "🤍".

The couple have been busy building their family - they're parents to two daughters, one born in August 2021, and another born in December 2023, so we imagine they've been pretty busy. 

7. Montana Brown & Mark O'Connor

Ex-Love Islander Montana Brown announced her engagement in 2023, with partner Mark O'Connor proposing during a romantic babymoon. 

The pair have since welcomed their first child together - so will we see them tie the knot in 2025?

8. Nicole Scherzinger & Thom Evans

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger announced she was engaged to partner and rugby player Thom Evans in June this year after three years of dating.

The couple met back in 2019 whilst filming the first (and only!) series of The X Factor: Celebrity when Nicole was a judge and Thom was a contestant and one third of the boy band Try Star.

Thom got down on one knee on a sandy beach whilst the couple were on holiday together. Is that a sign that they might opt for a beach wedding venue? Here's to hoping we find out in 2025. 

9. Phoebe Waller-Bridge & Martin McDonagh

Though it's not officially confirmed, it has been reported that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is engaged, and we're pumped!

The actress, 38, is reportedly engaged to her long term boyfriend Martin McDonagh, 53, after she was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring at her brother's wedding.

We can't wait to see what the couple, who met in 2017, have in store for their wedding - just imagine the speeches! 

10. Scarlett Moffatt & Scott Dobinson

Scarlett Moffat and Scott Dobinson announced their engagement in November 2023. 

The pair, who are parents to son Jude, have since discussed their wedding plans - with Scarlett teasing that they'd married in secret after she referred to Scott as her 'husband' in a post on her Instagram. 

She recently told The Mirror that she and Scott had flown to Vegas with the idea of getting married - but decided against it as they want their family present when they get hitched. Watch this space for 2025 then...

11. Elektra Fence & 'Mr Fence'

Elektra Fence and freelance artist Bonjour Duckie (referred to as Mr Fence by Elektra) announced their Christmas engagement in 2022 with an Instagram post complete with the following caption: “So… This happened! Mr Fence Proposed! @bonjourduckie The love of my life proposed to me today wtf!”

While their wedding planning is underway, Elektra has taken on another important role, as our very own Hitched Dragony Aunt. She's given advice on how to get your partner to propose, and what to do if being a bridesmaid is taking over your life.

We hope the cute couple are finding time to squeeze in some wedding planning - we can't wait to see the outfits!

12. Myleene Klass & Simon Motson

Super romantic fashion PR Simon Motson proposed to Myleene Klass in their garden shed - but wait, it gets better! He’d revamped it so it became a replica of the bar that the couple first met, eight years ago now on a blind date. 

He proposed with a unique black diamond engagement ring (a casual nine-carats, folks) - but we're still waiting to hear wedding bells from these two. Will 2025 be their year? Myleene has said she has 'no idea' when the pair will get married, so who can say. 

13. Kaley Cuoco & Tom Pelphrey

The Big Bang Theory star announced her engagement to Tom Pelphrey on Instagram in August 2024. The pair, who have been dating since 2022, share a daughter called Matilda.

Tom proposed with a custom designed ring, which Kaley described as "a once in a lifetime slice of perfection." Kaley has been married twice before, one time in an iconic pink wedding dress, so we can't wait to see if she has a 2025 wedding and what she'll wear!

14. Adele & Rich Paul

Adele confirmed she was engaged to Rich Paul during a concert in Munich in August 2024. 

A fan held up a sign asking Adele to marry them, and she responded: "I can't marry you because I'm already getting married," and flashed her diamond engagement ring. The pair were rumoured to be engaged, especially after Adele referred to Rich as 'my husband' during her Las Vegas residency in September 2022, but now she's finally confirmed it we're eagerly awaiting the wedding!

15. Emma Roberts & Cody John

Wild Child actress Emma Roberts is engaged to fellow actor Cody John - and we're hoping to see them marry in 2025!

She announced their engagement in July 2024 with a selfie on Instagram. The caption read: "Putting this here before my mom tells everyone."

16. Ashanti & Nelly

One for the 90s kids - Ashanti confirmed she's engaged to Nelly back in April 2024 after he proposed to her whilst she was wearing his t-shirt and boxer shorts!

The couple - who rekindled their romance in 2023 - share one child together. Could we see them get married in 2025? Only time will tell.
