Emmerdale Star Hayley Tamaddon Announces Engagement After Revealing Surprise Pregnancy

Former Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon revealed she is engaged to her partner, three weeks after announcing her pregnancy.
The soap star, 42, took to Twitter at the end of April to tell fans she was expecting her first child with her partner Adrian.
She followed up with another tweet on Tuesday morning showing off her new engagement ring.
“HE PROPOSED………….. I said YES!!!!” she wrote.
“This year is turning out to be quite wonderful.”

She looked joyful in the relaxed snap, with her tousled hair tied back and showing off her sparkling halo ring.
The Dancing On Ice winner looked equally happy just a few weeks earlier when she announced her pregnancy.

Hayley’s famous friends immediately congratulated her on her engagement news.
Strictly dancer James Jordan wrote, “Congratulations babe”, while Coronation Street star Julia Goulding added, “Congratulations to both of you!! Absolutely fantastic news, can’t wait until you’re home so we can celebrate.”
Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown tweeted, “Congratulations lovely,” while EastEnders actor Shane Ritchie sent her a heart and a playful GIF.
Hayley is best known for playing Del Dingle in Emmerdale from 2005-2007, but she also had a stint in Corrie as Andrea Beckett for two years from 2013.
She won the 2010 series of Dancing on Ice alongside Daniel Whiston and returned for the All Star series in 2014. She’s currently taking to the stage in the West End musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
Little is known about her partner Adrian, but the couple both seem delighted by their baby and wedding news. The fact she kept Adrian out the spotlight meant the news came as a total shock to fans, who were overwhelmed with her double whammy of happy news.
