She's seen plenty of romance up close as a waitress on First Dates, but now Laura Tott, waitress at the famous First Dates waitress, is celebrating her own engagement!
First Dates star Laura Tott has announced she is engaged! The 26 year old, who found fame as a waitress at the famous First Dates restaurant, revealed in an Instagram post that her partner - whose identity has always been kept secret - proposed while they were on holiday.
She shared a post of herself flashing a diamond solitaire ring on a white gold band while posing in a pool, with the following caption: “Well I better get planning that hen do.
“Always keep my relationship off social media and I love that it’s just for me, but wanted to share this with you all cos I’m absolutely over the moon.
“Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine.”
Her fans and friends alike were thrilled with the news, with one commenting: “Best news ever!! So happy for you both. Sean did good with that ring!!!! X”, suggesting the mystery proposer is called Sean - but that’s all we know!
Before finding fame on First Dates, Laura served in the Royal Navy with HMS Raleigh in Cornwall, and worked as a waitress and bartender off screen too. Most recently, she’s been working as a paramedic, completing her first shift in 2019 while also filming First Dates. Laura doesn’t appear in the new series of First Dates however - since the show relocated to Manchester from London, they refreshed the cast with new faces.
