When you become a Hitched Accredited Venue, you’ll know exactly how to give a first class service that results in wedding bookings time and time again.
Industry experts will examine your offering from first point of contact onwards, give you feedback on your service and tell you how you can convert that all-important showround into a wedding date in the diary.

Background
Over the past 23 years, Hitched has helped millions of couples find their dream wedding venue.
With over 3,000 venues advertising with us and experience training over 500 wedding co-ordinators, when it comes to matching couples with their ideal place to say ‘I do’ we’re the industry experts.
The Proposal
Research has shown that couples only visit up to five venues before making a decision, so first impressions really do count.
Our aim is to ensure that the first impression you give is one that leads to a booking, time and time again. We use industry experts as mystery shoppers, who will work to establish if couples are provided with first class service throughout their experience with your venue – from the information they receive at their initial enquiry, right through to their show round.
We’ll then provide detailed feedback on each mystery shopping visit as well as an analysis of the overall experience and, depending on the results, you’ll become a Hitched Accredited Venue.

The Process
- We will send an enquiry to the venue via Hitched.co.uk
- An expert will anonymously arrange to visit the venue for a wedding show round
- A full report of the customer service and experience will be written up
The Results
It’s time to let potential couples know that you’re a Hitched Accredited Venue! Once the report has been written up you will be awarded a Hitched accreditation and receive a badge for your website. If there’s work to be done and you haven’t been accredited this time, don’t worry. Part of our promise is to work closely with our venues to improve their service, with the aim of becoming an accredited venue in the future.
