Hollyoaks Star Jorgie Porter Announces Engagement!
The actress took to Instagram to reveal to reveal her partner Ollie Piotrowski had popped the question and was flooded with congratulations from famous faces
Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter revealed on Sunday evening that she is engaged to her partner Ollie Piotrowski.
The actress, who is best known for playing Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, shared a snap of her stunning pear cut engagement ring with the simple caption 'OMG'.
Jorgie, 33, has been dating 32-year-old businessman Ollie since September 2020 after enjoying a series of dates together on FaceTime due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Despite only dating just over a year, the pair have actually known each other much longer. On their anniversary, Jorgie wrote, 'One year being in love with you and 7 years knowing you!!! I’m a lucky girl to be in your life love u immensely.'
The couple were flooded with congratulatory messages from family and famous friends. Both Love Island's Chris Hughes and Jorgie's Hollyoaks co-star Chelsee Healey wished them 'Congrats!', with Chelsee following up with a line of crying emojis, hearts and smiling faces.
Former X Factor contestant Amelia Lily penned, 'Congratulations gorgeous girl,' and This Is England star Thomas Turgoose wrote, 'Oi oi!!! Congrats'.
The happy news comes just after devastating heartbreak for the pair, who suffered a miscarriage in August after expecting quadruplets together.
In her first interview since the loss, she told Fabulous magazine, 'If we can get through this, we can get through anything.'
The couple looked thoroughly loved-up in their engagement snap, with Ollie kissing Jorgie's cheek as she smiled into the camera.
Jorgie hasn't shared any more details about the engagement yet, but she posted an Instagram snap earlier in the day of the pair shopping at Gleneagles - a luxury resort in Scotland.
It looks like Ollie took the opportunity to pop the question on a romantic getaway and, since the resort has a two-Michelin starred restaurant, we can't think of anywhere better!
Back in September, the pair announced they had bought their first house together and launched an Instagram account following their renovation project, @jollies_newhome.
