Emmerdale’s Liam Fox is Engaged to Girlfriend Joanna Hudson

Emmerdale’s Liam Fox is engaged to his girlfriend of four years, actress Joanna Hudson.
The actor, who plays Dan Spencer in the ITV soap, shared the exciting news with his followers on Twitter.

The pair both look excited and happy as Joanna flashed her sparkling engagement ring. The caption reads: “She only went and said yes… @missjohud” alongside a heart emoji.
Emmerdale fans rushed to congratulate the happy couple, with a fan account for the soap tweeting: “Congratulations to you both. Couldn’t happen to a nicer fella! Best wishes for the future.”

Among those to send their well wishes were a few famous faces, including Coronation Street’s Sally Ann Matthews.
The actress commented: “Amazing news! She’s not daft, knows a keeper when she sees one. Congratulations both! Xx”
Liam’s Emmerdale co-star Sandra Marvin also posted in response. She wrote: “Omg!! Huge congratulations to you both! Amazing news xxx”

The news comes four years after Liam split from his wife of 16 years, Hollyoaks actress Nicole Barber-Lane.
Nicole is best known for her role as Myra McQueen in the soap, and has two children with Liam.

When the relationship ended, the pair released a joint statement which read: “It is with much sadness that we confirm the end of our marriage, though our family unit remains strong.
“We will always love and respect each other and are united by our children and family remaining at the centre of our lives.”
A source close to the couple told Digital Spy at the time of the split: “Liam and Nicole are divorcing as their relationship as man and wife has come to an end, but they genuinely remain good friends.
“They continue to socialise with each other and enjoy time together as a family with their children, also working on some projects together.”
Liam met Nicole in Manchester in 1997 and the pair tied the knot two years later in 1999.
