According to Inbaal’s forecast, the luckiest wedding date in 2024 is a fairly traditional one, so if you’ve chosen that you’re probably already feeling pretty lucky!
“June 21, 2024 - traditional values.
“Midsummer night is a time for weddings. This has been a favourite date with fans of Lord of the Rings and of William Shakespeare for different reasons, and is a date which is still celebrated throughout the globe with traditional fertility customs, feasts and proposals.
“In 2024, the heavens align for the Summer Solstice - the sun is in romantic Cancer, it is a full moon in wealthy Capricorn, and both Mercury, planet of communication and Venus, planet of love are in Cancer as well. All the planets except Pluto are going direct in the sky. Everything is pointing towards a lifelong, blessed and fertile union.”
According to Inbaal’s predictions, other good days include:
“March 10, 2024 - Romance in abundance.
“You can't go too far wrong with the Pisces new moon. A new moon always occurs in the same sign that the sun is in at that time, so the sun and the moon are both in romantic Pisces, which is a sensitive, intuitive sign.
“Mercury, planet of communication, is in Pisces as well that day. The Pisces new moon comes but once a year, and so this is your opportunity to grab. A quick glance into that day's chart brings added value to the date, because every single planet happens to be going direct on that day, not even one retrograde. This means smooth sailing, things will go as planned.”
“June 6, 2024 - The alternative option.
Generally speaking, Gemini isn't the most marriage-compatible sign. Gemini season is about options and variety, not commitment and fidelity. But on this date, something special is happening. It's a new moon in Gemini, which symbolises turning over a new leaf - maybe a second marriage for someone, maybe marrying someone who you've left and now reunited with.
“The sun and the moon are both in Gemini, but they are not alone. Mercury, planet of communication, Venus, planet of love and Jupiter, planet of abundance are all in Gemini as well.
“When we have so many planets in the same sign, it means everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. And the date 6/6/24 is just adorable, isn't it?”
Unluckiest Wedding Date in 2024
The unluckiest date to get married in 2024 is actually pretty lucky if you want your wedding party to be a rager…
“December 7, 2024 - Indecision and uncertainty.
“Sagittarius season isn't the best time for weddings anyway. Sagittarius is a festive sign, all about the party, so the event would be memorable, but it's a sign that prefers freedom over commitment….
“On December 7, there's a jumble of misfortune. Mercury, planet of communication, is retrograde, which can make wedding planning a nightmare, with messages going missing and booking forms vanishing into thin air. Also the Moon is in Aquarius, a faithful sign, but not a very romantic one."
Luckiest Wedding Dates in 2023
Inbaal revealed the luckiest dates to get married in 2023, and you might be pleasantly surprised if you chose to have an out-of-season wedding…
“October 14, 2023 - both balanced and unique.
“The solar eclipse which will take place on the date, will be when both the sun and the new moon are in Libra. Balance, equality and loving love are central themes to the sign of Libra, and very important for creating a married life that can last the distance.
“The annular eclipse, which is like a total eclipse, but when you can still see the sun's light around the dark centre, makes this date unique, as an eclipse like this only comes around once every year or two.”
Inbaal also picked out a couple more good days to say ‘I do’ in 2023:
“February 5, 2023 - plain sailing.
“Many of us have heard of Mercury in retrograde. This is when Mercury, planet of communication, appears to be going backwards in the sky, which spells bad news for communication. As it happens, all planets can do that, and this can cause havoc in the heavens.
“A full moon is always a very blessed time of the month. This full moon on February 5, there are no retrogrades in the zodiac chart. It's the first time we've had a full moon with all the planets going direct - since Easter of 2022!”
“July 17, 2023 - Family matters.
“For those who are looking for the full works - lots of babies, chickens and an AGA, for those people exactly, the Cancer new moon was created. Cancer is a sign that loves the whole idea of the hearth.
“A central fire that never goes out, a sacred homeliness which centres life around the living room, and keeps family and emotions as a focus. During the Cancer new moon, the sun is also inevitably in cancer, which doubles up on the devoted, loving connection for the couple.
“This wedding date isn't about the wedding day, it's about the long marriage that follows.”
The Unluckiest Wedding Date in 2023
It’s safe to say that if you research what the planets are doing, you probably won’t have chosen this date for your wedding. If you aren’t the type to know which one is in retrograde and when, continue as you are - we believe in mind over all kinds of matter here!
“September 3, 2023 - anxiety and war.
“Getting married during the Mercury retrograde isn't very auspicious. Mercury is the planet of communication, and when it appears to be going backwards in the sky, it means that words will be taken out of context and communication becomes uneasy.
“On this date it isn't just Mercury. Also Venus, planet of love, Saturn, planet of karma, as well as the three outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, are all retrograde. Jupiter, planet of abundance, is in a pre-retrograde funk, its reversal starting two days later.
“The only planet free to do its own thing is Mars, planet of war, and not being horrible, but no one wants this guy around at a wedding. The sun is in fastidious Virgo on this date, and the moon is in stress-ball Aries.”
