Real Housewives of Cheshire star Taylor Ward is engaged to Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez after he proposed in Mykonos
Taylor Ward, daughter of Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward and retired footballer Ashley Ward, is engaged! She shared the exciting news on her Instagram, complete with the caption: 'There’s no one I’d rather do this life with, here’s to a lifetime of us. Can’t wait to grow old together, btw I said YES! I Love You.'
Taylor's boyfriend, Manchester City player Riyard Mahrez, popped the question with a £400k ring while the couple were on holiday with friends and family in Mykonos.
It’ll be the second time down the aisle for winger Riyard, as he was previously married to former model Rita Johal for six years, and shares two daughters with her.
Taylor, 23, moved in with Riyard in December and the couple have been together for 16 months. They became Instagram official in October, eight months after it was first reported that they were together. A source told The Sun that the lavish diamond ring had been custom-made, and that it caught Taylor completely by surprise.

Many of the couple’s celebrity pals were eager to share in the excitement, with Lottie Tomlinson, Kady McDermott and Love Island’s Rosie Williams all sharing their well wishes under the Instagram post.
Rosie commented: ‘Oh Tay! I’m so happy for you both! One of my fave couples! Congratulations baby!! Get home so we can celebrate! Love you’.
Riyad and Taylor are currently holidaying on Mykonos, after travelling there by private jet with a group which included Taylor’s mum, Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn.
Taylor’s sister, Darby Ward, was due to get married in Bali in September 2020 but had to postpone her big day due to the pandemic. She’s now expecting her first child with fiancé Michael Jackson, and has delayed her wedding to later on in 2021.
