Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Catherine Davis Designs is a live wedding illustrator.

Capturing the beauty and romance of your day with just her art supplies and a canvas, Catherine can paint lovely illustrations of your guests that will evoke memories of your milestone event forever. This is a lovely, unique touch to include in your celebration, a low-key form of entertainment and will provide you and your guests with a keepsake you’ll cherish for years to come.

2024/25 prices are £495 for the day plus 45p per mile. I’m based in HX2

Amazing Illustrator!

Catherine is absolutely wonderful! I had a vendor cancel last minute and Catherine quite literally jumped in to save the day! Her work was absolutely fantastic and our wedding guests loved her! The communication was amazing from the beginning and she was incredibly warm and friendly. We had more guest wanting illustrations than Catherine had time to do on the wedding day (and she did so many! What a talent!), and we were so impressed by her work that we asked for them all to be completed to be sent out with the Thank you cards, as a keepsake afterwards.
If you are considering Catherine as a vendor, book her! You will not regret it!

A great experience!

Catherine illustrated our guests at our wedding in August and we were so happy with her work. She always responded really quickly to any questions we had and the booking process was seamless. It was also a lovely touch to receive an illustration of us prior to our wedding which is framed and on show in our lounge! The guests loved seeing their pictures being painted and Catherine was super friendly, even allowing my four year old niece to complete her own drawing after she had watched her. We would definitely recommend Catherine for a wedding or event and lots of our guests mentioned how nice it was to see something a bit different. Thank you Catherine! Emily & Henry

Excellent and unique addition to wedding

We absolutely loved having Catherine at our wedding! She took pictures of our guests before the ceremony (so you didn’t notice any disruption!) and then got to painting straight away. The guests loved seeing their painting be ready, we then took them all away to write thank you messages on the back. Would thoroughly recommend!

Amazing !!

Catherine’s attention to detail is brilliant. She caught the most beautiful moment of myself and my husband saying our vows, on our wedding day. Moving through the venue so our guests could enjoy watching her paint as we went off for some photos meant we felt happy leaving them with some kind of ‘entertainment’.

We spoke a little about what our expectations were and she absolutely nailed it. We were so happy with the end result. The painting is just amazing and we couldn’t thank her enough, it’s such an unusual way to remember the day that we will treasure forever.
