Incredible!

Chris was recommended to us by our venue, and from our first meeting via a Zoom call we knew we had made the right choice. She helped put all of our worries at ease regarding involving our dog in our special day, was professional, caring, and knowledgeable, looked after him like he was her own, and was instrumental in him being the ringbearer during the ceremony. We cannot thank you enough for all of your help.

Friendly, knowledgeable and stress free

Trish and Chris took on our last minute request to help us with our puppy at our wedding. Trish called before and was so knowledgeable on how it could work on the day + outfits and ring boxes.

Trish then did everything we asked with no questions/ fuss - which was so so appreciated with everything that was going on. He was so happy on the day, getting lots of walks when we may not have had a time and lots of fuss. She even got him to sit for the photos, even though bells were going and lots of talking- which meant he couldn't hear us talking to him...

Thoroughly recommend this, we debated whether to have a chaperone but it truly transformed the day to see him as I turned up at the church really out me at ease, I love the photos with him in, and didn't worry about him once!

The best dog chaperone for your wedding!

We are so happy we booked with Short legs dog care for our wedding day. We really wanted to include our dog in our special day to share photos with us and we’re so happy to have found Short legs dog care.

Chris was amazing throughout from calls, picking up our dog from the hotel we were staying at, boarding him at her house and bringing him to our venue.

He had the best time and couldn’t recommend this supplier more for your big day!! Thank you

Great supplier!

Having Chris as a dog chaperone for our special furry boy on our big day was such a great choice! She met with all of us before the big day to get to know her and run through our day and when would be ideal to have our dog involved.
On the day she picked him up as agreed and coped amazingly even though he ended up being in a cone and having a booty to try and keep on for the day! We absolutely trusted our dog was in the right hands and very well looked after. Would highly recommend short legs to anyone who wants to involve their dog on their special day and have a trusted professional to look after them

Looking after Milo on our wedding day

My wife and I had Trish look after our dog Milo during our wedding day. Trish was simply fantastic - as can be expected our minds were elsewhere on the day and we weren't really even there to meet Trish properly - but she was so on top of everything this didn't matter! She handled Milo brilliantly and immediately made great friends with him on her walk - then coming to our wedding she was always respective and tried to blend in as much as possible but always made sure Milo was available for the many photos and ready to join us at the ceremony! Trish then took him back to our cottage and looked after him, sending regular photos and updates as well as staying late being really flexible.

Would 100% recommend Trish and Short Legs Day care for your special day!

Very professional, makes your big day easy

Chris looked after two of our dogs at the Matara Centre last month for our wedding. She was great every step of the way, from organising and communicating before the wedding about the various needs of our dogs and our expectations to how well she worked with Matara and our Photographer Lee Hawley. We couldn't have made a better decision choosing Chris to look after our dogs, she kept them relaxed and reacted to their needs which gave us one less issue to worry about on our big day!
Would most definitely recommend her services!

What an amazing service that short legs dog care provide. They are so responsive and provide a pre wedding call to ensure that your dog is safe and has everything they need for the day. They picked Pippa (our dog) up and took her for a walk before travelling to the venue. They then gave the best care during the day ensuring that she was safe, fed and watered. They allowed us to have the best day ever by having our best friend at our special day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Top service and amazing people

The BEST dog chaperone in the Cotswolds!

We cannot express how grateful we are to Chris for looking after Poppy on our big day. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. Chris was excellent from start to finish; pre-communication was great, we were fully informed of the process and pricing from the start, and Chris kindly arranged to meet Poppy beforehand to make sure we were comfortable with everything.

On the day itself, Chris generously picked Poppy up from a family home and later took her to the venue, which took the transport hassle away from us (she also dropped Poppy back off after the wedding)! During the ceremony, Chris seamlessly blended in with the guests and made the entire experience totally stress free for us! Everyone loved having Poppy there, which wouldn't have been possible without you Chris, so THANK YOU!

Amazing service, amazing team

I didn't even realise a dog chaperone was something we needed at our wedding but having the Short Legs team was a godsend. Our pup was looked after by Trish and we couldn't have asked for more. Our dog has 3 legs and Trish was so on the ball with checking her energy levels and making sure she was safe considering it was also a hot day. She was so flexible with her feeding time and made sure she was happy and settled off site before leaving her. We would book with Short Legs again in a heartbeat if ever needed.

A champion of your companion on your special day

We’re so grateful to Chris for looking after our and my parents pet on our wedding day. They were lovely to work with, and really made sure Barnaby (our spaniel) was a massive part of our day, as he should be. From Barnaby running down the aisle to posing for photographs, Chris had everything under hand.
