PROP:- PIC OF GROOM DRESSED AS SNOW WHITE.
Firstly on behalf of the bridesmaids, I'd like to thank Gareth for his kind words. I have to agree they look lovely and have done an excellent job today.

It's certainly been a glorious day so far, and I'm sure you'd all agree that seeing Gareth and Beverly being united forever at the ceremony was a very emotional moment, even the cake is in tiers!

I think that my duties as Best Man to get Gareth here;

ON TIME, which is a first,

SOBER, which is unusual,

AND SMART, which is unheard of. Have been successful.
Gareth and I go probably back about 15 years, and during this time we've become very good friends and it's a pleasure to be his Best Man today.

I didn't know Gareth in his early school years, but have been told that his first day was not a great success. Apparently when he came home his mother asked him if he had a good day. His reply was “I've tried it, didn't like it and I'm not going again”. His mother convinced him he had to return. But he said I'll go, but I'm not going to like it. Things haven't changed much over the years he still says this when leaving the Pen-y-Bont (GROOMS FAV PUB).

Throughout his life Gareth has been keen footballer and fisherman, but I have only known him as a footballer. After breaking his leg playing he decided that he wanted become a goalkeeper. Well he's been playing in goals for a while now, and I think it's about time someone told him that the net isn't there to catch the ball, that's his job.

While growing up we all have people we look to for advice, inspiration, and as role models and Gareth was no different. Probably the most influential and biggest role model in his life was his father Ron. Who's in all our thoughts today. Then it would probably be anyone who has played for Tottenham football club, and more recently as you can see from this picture SNOW WHITE. (Show Picture). This will be available for closer inspection later.

Gareth is a lucky groom as you can see; He's married Beverly who is beautiful, successful, intelligent, and the added bonus is, she runs a pub.

I don't have much advice for the newlyweds, because I really have no experience to speak from. But, if I had any advice, it might just be to Gareth. That would be, to always put the seat down, never fight before you go to bed, and there will always be two sides to every argument, yours and the right one.

On a more sincere note I'd like to express my congratulations to Gareth and Beverly. I wish them all the best for the future & hope they enjoy a long and happy marriage, and to thank them for honouring me with the role of best man.

Could you please stand and join me in a toast to the happy couple Gareth and Beverly.
