How lovely too see you all
I know some of you have travelled some distance to be here today and I know how much it means to paul and terry that your here
I would also like to say how beautiful the bridesmaids look, and girls I will be available for a dance later, but you will have to wait your turn!!.
I will keep this speech brief as you may not be aware but there are two best men and I know the other bloke can drone on for hours !!!
As you can see the hours spent in the beauty parlour getting the hair right, make up right and the nails right – its all paid off – PAUL you look beautiful. But seriously what I really want to say, and I'm sure you all agree is how stunningly beautiful TERRI looks.
Weddings can be a nervous time, especially the night before, so being Paul's best man I decided to keep him company last night and you will all be pleased to hear that he slept like a baby ……………….he was up every 5 minutes crying for his Mum.
The first time I heard about Terri was actually the day after PAUL had met her. He called me up first thing in the morning to tell me that he had met the girl of his dreams. I told him to calm down and play it cool, and you know what he SHE is the one. He then went on to tell me how he had butterflies in his stomach and how much she made him laugh all night, and he couldn't wait to call her the next day. From that moment on he was totally smitten by her. AAHHHH
Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to take this moment and thank PAUL for asking me to be his best man, it's a honour and a priviledge for me, to not only be PAUL's cousin and to also be called his best friend. Thanks paul!!!
I hope your marriage turns out like the weather forecast – warm, close and with a little son to follow.
So now I ‘d like to finish by wishing PAUL and TERRI all the love and best wishes for a long and happy marriage together, so please raise your glasses with me and toast the happy couple.
