Intro: Could I get everyone's attention for just a moment Please. My name is Daniel GXXXXX, also known in many circles as Uncle Danny. I would like to start by saying to Pedro and Kathleen that it was truly an honor to be chosen as your best Man. I would also like to thank everyone for coming today to share this special occasion. I know it means a lot to them.

This is the time in the ceremony when I get a Chance to roast—toast the bride and groom!!

Pedro, She's a lovely person and deserves a good husband. Your lucky you married her before she found one!!

Seriously though Pedro, you are a lucky groom. You've got Kathleen who is beautiful, smart, funny, warm, loving, caring, and a hotty!

Kathleen, You got…..… Pedro

I have known Pedro for his entire Life. And although we have had many similarities in life, some things have been different.

For example, when Pedro was about 5, he got "The green machine". This was like a tricycle on steroids. He would peddle really fast and pull on a break lever to spin out. I wanted one soo bad. I asked for one but got a used tricycle with rusty wheels. I would peddle as fast as I could, but to get the same spin out effect, I had to put my foot in front of the tire, usually leading to Pedro's and my favorite past time, the stunt fall!!!

Later, Pedro one upped me again by riding his bike into the street and getting hit by a car. All I ever got hit by was my mom's pink rubber slipper!

Pedro at one point considered joining the Sheriffs department. Figuring to start small time and then go big time, he worked security at Kmart. Soon, his big chance Came, when a suspect took a CD of Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits!! Out the door, over 1 wall, close on his tale all the while yelling, stop goteme or I'll yell stop again! Over the next wall and "PoP" goes his knee. Had this been a real police chase, he would have shot him in the butt.

While in College, Pedro met Kathleen through a mutual friend. He told me he was very interested in this person not only for her good looks, but that she meant being able to use the carpool lane. She told me he was so nice because he spent some of his lunch money buying her the awesome campus cookies.

Soon after, I realized she meant a lot to him. As their relationship grew, I could see them heading towards this eventful day.

When I found out they were engaged, I put an add in the paper to let all the women know Pedro was off the market and to return any keys they may have to his house to kindly send them to the address below. The response was very impressive.

Pedro, I have always thought of you not as my nephew, but as my brother. My little brother. I think you know how much I love you, and how proud I have always been of you. Today is one of those days. Now you too have been lucky enough to find true love in such a wonderful person. So Cathleen and Pedro, remember to always be good to each other. Marriage is a wonderful thing.
