Thanks for the help guys... I had a week to put together a bestman speech. What I did was looked at a few examples that were posted on your site. Then, created a short but sweet speech that went very well. I organizied it a bit differently. I created "points" and just memorized those important points that gave the speech "flow" and structure. I did add a lot of freelancing as I went along at at "gametime." It was an Italian-American wedding so there was a lot of "respect" and Godfather bullshit that I had to throw in there. In any event, it went great and maybe someone else can use it.

Luigi's Bestman Speech…
For those of you who don't know me I am Dominic, Luigi's good friend…
A happy marriage is a matter of give and take; the husband gives and the wife takes.
In any event, I would like to start out by thanking Domenico, Luisina, Gaetano, and Angelina – the families of the bride and groom for helping put together such a wonderful event.
It's really an honor to be Luigi's bestman, because Luigi is the bestman that I know.
Now, I am sure all of you know how Luigi and Sabina met. They actually met through a mutual friend. I remember Luigi commented on how beautiful Sabina was. It was actually not until two years later that they began dating, after a fantastic evening out (which happened to be St. Patrick's Day). However, after they made the commitment to be together it was all love from then on. All we ever heard about was this woman, and her beauty, great morals, wonderful family, she's a teacher. I had never seen love explode like that in my life. In fact, after a few months as Luigi, friend John and myself were driving home – Luigi commented, “I am going to marry her.” John and my reaction? He was right.
Luigi is a man of principle and high moral standings. Sabina is beautiful, family-oriented, and sweet. Myself or any other single man should hope to be as luck as Luigi to find a woman as beautiful and kind as Sabina to spend the rest of our lives with.
Ladies and Gentlemen, please stand with me as we raise our glasses in a toast to the bride and groom. Luigi and Sabina, we all love you and wish you both a lifetime of health and happiness. Auguri e cento anni di felicita…
