Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen, for those of you that dont know me my name is Jim and I am Martins Bestman and younger brother.

Before I get on with the tradition of trying to embarrass the groom I would like to start by saying how beautiful the bridesmaids look and thank them for doing a fantastic job today.

I think you will all agree Marie looks one in a million today, whereas our Martin looks like he was won in a raffle! In all fairness he's scrubbed up well for today.

I would also like to thank the ushers, John, Richard and David for doing the difficult job of telling people where to sit and for paying for my beer for the rest of the night, cheers lads!

So martin and Marie you are now finally married, For better or for worse which is quite appropriate as Martin couldnt have done any better and Marie couldnt have done any worse!

Traditionally people are asked to be Bestman but as Martin is my older brother he stuck with his trations and TOLD me I was his Bestman!

He also told me to organise a good stag do. Although there is little I can mention about Barcelona, not because of what happens on the stag do stays on the stag do but because I remember very little of it! However Im sure all the lads had a good time?

ADD CHILDHOOD STORIES ABOUT THE GROOM AND HOW YOU MET

As I have got to know Marie very well over the last 5 years I probably could have wrote a speech about her. Its a great pleasure to welcome Marie into the family and finally be able to call her my sister in law.

It has been a great honour for me to be standing here as my brothers Bestman and would like to wish both of you the best of luck and hope you have a long and happy life together.

It now gives me immense pleasure and relief to invite you all to stand and raise your glasses to the new MR & Mrs W…..To Martin and Marie

Thank You
