Good evening Ladies and Gentleman and I'd like to wish everyone a warm welcome to Jackie and Nik's Wedding Reception.
By the way if there's anybody here who feels a little nervous and
apprehensive, It's probably because you've just got married to Nik SHAH !
As you've probably gathered I am the best man for today and for those of you that don't know me my name is James.Now before I begin to assassinate Nik's character,in the nicest possible way of course….he would like to say a few words.… Introduce Nik.

Well done Nik.
(Stood up wearing a pair of Vulcan ears – Got a big laugh straight off)
Lets get one thing straight…..Nik is not a CLINGON and although I look like one I am not a ROMULAN……..… We are in fact wearing traditional Indian dress.
I would like to thank Nik for his kind words on behalf of the bridesmaids and also add how beautiful that Jackie looks today.
Well we have all known Nik or Jackie for a number of years and I have to say I did wonder if this day would ever come…….…
It has been a 13 year courtship so I wouldn't call it impulsive……….…
But I would call it fantastic and I am very happy for them both….Congratulations
Today I'd like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to a man who embodies many positive attributes: Intelligence, ambition, tact, generosity, and integrity. However, as it's Nik's wedding reception it's only fair that I talk about him instead!!! [laughter I hope]
At this point I would like to take you through a few slides of the SHAH years to date.Or as I like to call it the rise and fall.

Showed about 10 slides starting from birth to present day,of course all were embarrassing and got some big laughs .Used a standard projector bur if you had powerpoint available it could be even better.

Well I'm glad Nik and Jackie have finally tied the knot.Jackie is a wonderful person and deserves a good husband…And Nik is thanking his lucky stars he got to her before she found one…
Some of you may be aware that I am a policeman (that's always a conversation stopper) but it does give me access to privileged information.And Jackie you will be pleased to know that I have checked our records and that Nik is no longer on the sex offenders register.…

He is generous to a fault
He is understanding ,yet he's strong and protective.…
It's True………He may not always of treated his own body as a temple…(pause)……
But he worships yours.…
On a serious note I am very proud to be Nik's best man and glad to see them getting married.
Jackie is a wonderful woman and Nik is a very lucky man..
Family and friends are important to Nik and Jacike and that's why we are having this wonderful bash today. I think they both deserve a round of applause…..(start clapping)
