All those amongst you who know Fran well will know that she is a wonderful and caring person she deserves a good husband…thank god Allister married her before she found one.
I first met Allister when we were both at the YMCA shop when his nickname was ‘Robot boot’ and we immediately became great friends.
Since that time things have got progressively better we have been through many things together; including drinking, playing board games, joking around and generally having a laugh. The most memorable time of all was when we played ‘go for broke’ on a Wednesday after work and I kept beating him every time we played it.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Lestat and for those who do know me I apologise I've been given the honour of making the best man's speech.
Now I did ask for a microphone but was told one wasn't available. So, if you can't hear me at the back, the silence from the people at the front should re‐assure you that you're not missing out on anything.
I hope you all will agree with me on how stunning Fran looks today. Allister, myself and Fran enjoy a quote from the bible Mathew 11:28 come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I shall give you rest.
Does anyone know what Allister's Idea of helping with housework? Lifting his legs when Fran's vacuuming.
I won't keep you any longer because I know you all are waiting to get back to the bar so will you all stand and raise your glasses and wish them many years of happiness once more to Allister and Fran.
