Hi, my name is Michael and I am the best man, fortunately for John I'm only going to make up good stories.
I am sure you will all agree the Bridesmaids are looking fantastic today.
I have known Johnny and Megan since day one of their relationship so it gives me great pleasure to be standing here today. I must say Meagan you have never looked more beautiful than today.
I have known John for about 15 years, although it feels like 30 years of adventure.
All who are here today would have to agree that John pays attention to every detail and whatever he does is carried through with precision and finesse.
His ability to make even the most boring topics of conversation an interesting piece of information, never ceases to amaze me.
I remember the first night Johnny met Meagan, till this day controversy still surrounds the whereabouts of Johnny's business card.
From that day on you couldn't keep them apart. Meagan would stay over once a week then it became twice a week then moved she in on weekends. Before you knew it she was fighting Oscar “the cat” for a spot on the bed (it was a tense house for a couple of months).
The three of them finally decided to move in together. As a couple they grew, building a home and working hard on their professional lives.
They never case to amaze me how organised they are. They seem to book up their work and social calendar months in advance.
They never seem to argue and if they do they soon get it worked out by a quick “talk in the car”.
When John proposed to Meagan it was a case of “Johnny three times lucky”.
The first time he planned to propose it was at a restaurant in Central Australia called ‘The Sounds of Silence’. The scene was fantastic. We were having dinner under the stars – the only problem was every 5 minutes we had to stop and listen to the sounds of silence.
The second time he planned to propose on top of Ayers Rock. That didn't work too well. By the time we were half way up, Meagan was already at the top.
The third time round all the ingredients were right and marriage was served for main course. Meagan's response was “are you serious, are you serious?”
She did finally say yes which brings us here today.
To Johny and Megan it's been a pleasure to be a part of your past, hear today and both Anna & I look forward to the future with you both.…
So everyone get back up on your feet………… and Here's to Johny and Megan.…
