Thanks —.
Ladies and Gentlemen: boys and girls good evening and welcome to this *******’s & ******s special day.
Firstly I would like to thank the bridesmaids —-, —- and —. I am sure it was a combined effort by the bridesmaids this morning in calming *******’s nerves, and assisting ******* in her preparation today. You all look fantastic and all did a brilliant job in looking after ******* today. So could everyone please raise your glasses and drink a toast!—to the bridesmaids
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Nathan.
Now I'm probably in a better position than most, to pay tribute to the groom..…
After all, he's almost been like a brother to me..
Like most brothers we've always had our fair share of sibling rivalry, we always used to try to beat each other up, always tried to get each other into trouble we've certainly had our fair share of ups and downs. I remember back to times when a petty argument would arise from a friendly game of backyard cricket. ****** would call me dumb, and I'd call him stupid and then it would spiral out of all proportion and ****** would end up running back inside in tears. But sure enough, the next day, ****** would drop an email from work and all would be forgotten.
None of you will know this, but I””ve actually congratulated ****** already, I said to him, ””Well done! You will always look back on this as the happiest and best thing you””ve ever done.”” Fitting words, I thought, at the end of a fantastic bucks day.
There are obviously two very important people here today, without whom very little of this would have been possible. Many of us will know them pretty well already, and the great thing is that as the evening progresses, most of us will get to spend more and more time talking with them. So please join me in a very special toast – to the bar staff.
Joking aside now ******s, been a great brother to me and we've had some excellent times together and I'm sure we'll have more in the future and it's been an honour to be the best man today. When ****** told me he had asked ******* to marry him, I was obviously delighted, I wish them all the happiness in the world.
Ladies and Gentlemen, would you now do me the honour of rising to your feet ………………..and raising your glasses to Mr and Mrs ——
